Does God Exist?

I always get a good chuckle from discussions that ask the oddly-formulated question: "Does God exist?", whether those considering the matter are theists, agnostics or atheists - they all miss the point entirely.

I hope this video will give a more clear perspective on the matter.

Two very important teachings upon which all Orthodox Jews agree and which are standard, mainstream normative Judaism will show that what I say in this video are not simply my ideas, but Judaism as accepted by all learned Jews. If you search these quotes, you will see that they are found throughout Jewish learning.

The first is from the Prophet Yishayahu, and so certainly no Orthodox Jew is going to go against it:

55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.

The second teaching is Rabbinic:

"The Torah speaks in the language of men."

It is none the less true when God speaks of Itself in terms of existing as it is true when God talks about It's mouth, hand, it's heart or its anger and so forth.

Christians have come to all kinds of wild and unfounded conclusions based on total misunderstanding of Jewish sources and Jewish references. Often those interpretations are downright delusional and hallucinatory. That is the price your souls have paid for the presumption of imagining that you knew our Sources better than we, the Jews. I am sorry that my words are going to hurt those among you who are Christians because you really want a connection with God and know no other way. Not telling you the truth would hurt you immeasurably more.

My words will wound those who are Christians not because they seek God but because they hate the Jews and think the real Yeshu did too. In fact, he was revolted by gentiles.

I well know the Christians' penchant for twisting words and distorting the truth. I've heard all the distortions of what he said regarding the Christians. So, please do "endarken" me with more nonsense.

You will see from any comments that are made that Christianity is an internal contradiction and no explanations can get around these statements:

Matt. 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter you not:

Matt. 15:24 "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel"

John 4:22 "Salvation is of the Jews"

All the rest is inauthentic and one can easily see written by pagans to justify their arrogation. It has availed them nothing. Christianity has been a blight to the Earth, both to its practioners and to its victims. Gentile Christians have done a disserve to Yeshu, misrepresting and editing and falsifying his words, even as they claim that those words are infallible revelation. Indeed, they are easily shown to be forgeries, which is why the Churches took pains to persecute and silence the Jews.

Response to Those Who Criticize My Rejection of The Zohar and the
Pseudo-Kabbalah of Isaac Luria

Someone, who surely represents the majority of religious Jews, wrote me:

You have to understand that the accusations that you level against the AR"I ( Isaac Luria) is the destruction of the foundation of most, if not all, Judaism that we recognize today.
One primary example is historic Chassidism , the importance of which to the existence of the Jewish People no one argues, even among the "Mitnagdim". Chassidism is built and rests on the Torah of the AR"I and his student, Chaim Vital.
Bringing the personage of the AR"I into question is bringing the personages of all of the Rebbes into question since the time of the Ba'al Shem Tov himself.
Rabbi Nachman (of Breslov), the Alter Rebbe (of CHaBa"D), the Maggid of Mezritch, Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, Yisrael from Rosen and more, more, more, according to whose Torah we live today. Everyone of them is indirectly the student of the AR"I and the negation of him is the negation of them.
Questioning the personage of the AR"I is like doing the same to the RaMba"M (Maimonides) or the Shulchan Arukh (Rabbi Yosef Caro). These are people who almost no one has any doubts about their veracity and the level of their spirituality and any criticism of them is very dangerous.
I answered:

The Ba'al Shem Tov (the Master of the Good Name [of God]) himself was against the Zohar. Chassidim tried to blur this fact by saying that he came to a modus Vivendi with that "mysticism", but that is not true.

"Another important result of his doctrines, which was of great practical importance, was his denial that asceticism is pleasing to God. “Whoever maintains that this life is worthless is in error: it is worth a great deal; only one must know how to use it properly.” From the very beginning Besht fought against that contempt for the world which, through the influence of Isaac Luria’s Kabbalah, had almost become a dogma among the Jews. He considered care of the body as necessary as care of the soul; since matter is also a manifestation of God, and must not be considered as hostile or opposed to Him."

Note that hatred of the body is very much in keeping with "Ignatian spirituality", that is, that of the Jesuits, which we know to lead to degradation of the Spirit and morality alike.

And what you say is true, my Brother, yes; most of the Chassidim of today are unknowingly learning and practicing idol worship and paganism.
If we put a fish into gin, it will know that it is not water.
If we put a Jew into an environment of idol worship and paganism, he or she too will choke. Those who busy themselves with idol worship and do not feel that something is very wrong and inimical to the Spirit would do well to check their lineage. For no true Jew can tolerate the noxious atmosphere of idol worship and paganism.

I don't know if I am one of the seven thousand who will merit to be called Israel. I do know that I will fight for their survival, revelation and fruition with every bit of my strength to my dying breath.

And don’t *ever* try to frighten and cower me into submission to idol worship and paganism or get me to bend before any authoritarian personage with the word "dangerous".
It was always dangerous to speak the truth and Torah truth is the most dangerous of all to speak.
I am not afraid of *anything* in this world or any other world.
My only fear I know is the awe of the Holy One, Blessed is He.

From the time of the Roman period most of the "Rabbis", certainly most of them who became famous and were the Heads of Yeshivot, have been in the back pocket of the Vatican.
The deal struck between Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakkai and Vespasian is that the Rabbis would keep the Jews busy with learning and heap upon us a heavy mantle of ever-proliferating customs and stringencies so that we would be busy with minutiae and not think about rising up against the rule of Roman perversion and evil again.

My argument with the Talmud is not that of those from whose People it did not issue, who have never learned it in depth and criticize it from the outside, despite the fact that they know not Hebrew or Aramaic and so do not understand the linguistic subtleties. My argument with the Talmud is that it is designed to taking the Spirit of Revolt Against Evil out of my People and keep them atrophied students.

Is my stance eminently clear now?

True! What I say is very painful – but even more necessary than painful and so I say it because it must be said to revive the Soul of my beloved People Israel and free them from the unbearable weight that they have been laboring in vain under.

I do not expect that most of the "religious" Jews will accept what I am saying. The hardest thing for a person to do is to admit that they have been laboring under delusions for a protracted period, jettison them and break free to know the Truth.

THE JEWS vs. THE GREEKS

The respective approaches to ontology and epistemology of the Jews and the Greeks were not so much diametrically opposed, indeed they were not, as they were irreconcilable.

The Greeks opined that the universe was essentially rationally and logically ordered and operated according to rational and logical laws that could be apprehended by anyone possessing an orderly, logical and rational mind; irrespective of whether the person was of noble or ignoble character.

The Jews knew that the universe is essentially moral, guided by essentially moral principles and could thus only be comprehended by those of high moral achievement, each in direct proportion to his or her individual moral achievement, based on the conscious undertaking to grow ever more moral.

Judaism certainly recognizes that astronomical numbers of bits of data (cheekily but aptly called "factoids" nowadays) can be accumulated using rationality and logic and empirical observation alone and one can amass a good deal of know-how based on the principle of the mother of necessity being the mother of invention. But we Jews know that without moral aptitude the implications of the data mined cannot be understood properly and the principles cannot be applied wisely and well. Without moral excellence one cannot advance beyond the level of the proverbial butterfly collector.

Another difference between the Jews and the Greeks is that our approach to learning admits of no dichotomy between the linguistic and the mathematical, as Hebrew is an alpha-numerical language. No reading is possible in Hebrew without calculation.

Indeed, the study of mathematics by Jews was not only undertaken to the purpose of serving Humankind, Kabbalah, that is true Kabbalah, is naught but the study of moral mathematics, as I have elucidated and elaborated upon in many of my writings. As the study of moral mathematics is so very foreign to the gentile mind, it is no wonder that they perceive it as some kind of "witchcraft".

Jews never studied mathematics abstracted from the moral principles that underlie the numbers and the names of the numbers and the relations between and among numbers. The Nobel Prize awarded to Prof. Yisrael (Robert J.) Aumann and our historical proven aptitude in mathematics notwithstanding, Jews are discouraged from undertaking the study of "theoretical mathematics". We learn, as I said, the Kabbalah – the study of moral mathematical-linguistics, not gentile mathematics.

With the advent of the "scientific method" it appeared, for awhile, that the approach to ontology and epistemology of the Greeks had proven to be the correct one and the approach of the Jews to knowledge and being receded and was temporarily eclipsed. This optical delusion [sic] was exacerbated in the minds of secular scientists by the wholly irrational, bizarre and dark mysticism of the Christians, which was often attributed to the Jews as well because Christianity, possessing no validity on its own, was compelled to refer obsessively to Judaism in its vain attempt to reassure itself that it stood on some basis other than pagan debauchery, human sacrifice and drug-induced hallucination.

However, it did not take long before scientists, glamoured and enamoured with their own minds and growing ever more megalomaniacal with every seeming scientific victory over nature, soon descended into moral depravity and today the world has the Greeks to thank for such horrors as transhumanism, mind control experimentation, Big Phrama and the Hadron Collider – all of which adheres to the strictest rigors of mathematical analysis of scientific method even as it is increasingly morally deranged.

Now that they themselves, and not only the hapless Peoples colonized by them, are suffering the destruction wrought by their world-view, is the Euro-gentile world slowly, reluctantly coming to the conclusion that they Jews have been right all along?

Want more proof that Torah calls for Anarchism?

Four times in the Book of Judges we are told that "there was no king in Israel in those days" (Judges 17:6; 18:1; 19:1; 21:25).

Judges 17:6 is usually rendered in English thus : "In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes."

But that is not what the Hebrew says. It says:

בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם, אֵין מֶלֶךְ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל: אִישׁ הַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינָיו, יַעֲשֶׂה

Which means: In those days there was no king in Israel. The people were honest and as one, doing what is right in His eyes.

Classical math is one very small subset of a vastly more comprehensive mathematics.

Herein, I introduce that math and demonstrate the time and space it describes.

There are errata in the video:

I should have said that one of the values of ב is 1001^-998.

Also, I said that another of the values of ב, the simplest value of which is 2, is 1001 x 2000 = 2,002,000. That is correct, but the careful viewer will notice that it is a product of ב x ב, not ב x א. It is a correct value of ב with the diacritical grammatical point, which doubles its value.

Finally, I gave values for the letter ח when I intended ז. The correct basic values for the letter ז are: 7, 1006, 2005, 3004, 4003, 5002, 6001 and 7000.

I stated the value 4 for the letter ד both at the beginning and the end of the list of basic values. It should be: 4, 1003, 2002, 3001, 4000.

As you can see from the references below, the Rothschild family, most especially Jacob Rothschild, maintain an absolute monopoly over the control and direction of Jewish scholarship and Jewish policy worldwide. Their interests in all that pertain to the State of Israel in particular are reflected in their donation of the Knesset and Supreme Court buildings, the latter of which is infamous for the widespread Masonic symbolism integrated, part and parcel, into its architecture. That includes all of the streams of Judaism and all of the studies undertaken and policy decided by the various Jewish ethnic subgroups.

I take exception to Jacob Rothschild being referred to as a "Kabbalist" on the above site, BTW. He does not learn Kabbalah. He learns and practices sorcery, which is proscribed absolutely by Torah.

VISITING FELLOWSHIPS IN JEWISH STUDIES

"Yad Hanadiv and the Beracha Foundation are offering visiting fellowships in Jewish Studies for the academic year 1998-1999. Fellowships will be awarded to teachers of Judaic studies who hold non-tenured university positions, or who will have received tenure after September 1997. These include endowments for the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls – the only hope the Jewish people have of being able to compare that which is written in the Talmud with another contemporaneous source and thus know how to sort out what is true and what is untrue in the Talmud.

The studies of the Dead Sea Scrolls have been systematically distorted and stymied. Research on the Dead Sea Scrolls is routinely farmed out to pseudo-scholars who have neither the Hebrew proficiency nor the background in Jewish studies to be able to understand the Texts properly and often have an agenda of their own that is inimical to understanding the Dead Sea Scrolls properly.

I, for one, feel much more comfortable with the Judaism found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, that of the Tzdokkim (the Saducees) than in the Pharisaic Talmud and the Rabbinic tradition which is derived from it. The Judaism of HaYachad (meaning 'those who are unified', commonly known as the Essenes and the Dead Sea Sect) resembles the Judaism of the Talmud in many way. But there are also very important divergences – and those divergences are invariably more in keeping with the Torah than is the Judaism of the Pharisees, the latter of which HaYachad unequivocally stated that they considered filled with capitulation and distortion.

The Rothschilds do not want that Judaism getting out and being practiced because the dark side of the Kabbalah is based on that which is distorted in the Talmud.

And that is precisely why I do want it to get out and around. :0)

This is not to say that all that is taught in Judaism is distortion. The Jews have, despite the onslaught, managed to maintain a surprising degree of clarity and integrity and loyalty to the ancient way, but the infiltration of Judaism by those with nefarious intentions and purposes has most definitely been partially successful and has taken its toll.

I Always Thought Orion Was an Unfitting Name

I always thought that the name The Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Hebrew University was an odd name for a center devoted to precisely that subject. It hardly seemed a name that HaYachad (the Dead Sea Sect) would have approved of or a name that affords them their due respect.

I never felt comfortable with the fact that The Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls embraced and funded the research of non-Jews, specifically Christians, who could not possibly have the background to be able to fathom what they were looking at and were clearly skewing the research, which was often conducted on translations of the fragments.

I found it odd that a representative of The Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls contacted me some time ago and asked if they could integrate my research in some of their papers, but never offered to publish my work.

I always found it strange that the results of Emanuel Tov's research is published not in Israel, but by Oxford University Press and Brill Publishers.

Most of all, I wondered why the Dead Sea Scrolls were never afforded the respect they deserved and why The Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls did nothing to educate the public concerning the authenticity of the Judaism propounded in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Why, I wondered again and again, was I the only voice calling in the wilderness asserting that HaYachad (The Dead Sea Sect) were practicing a form of Judaism far truer to the original than that of the Prushim (Pharisees) and that which is written about them in the Talmud is mendacious?

Recently, it all started to make sense.

I was searching for information about Emanuel Tov. I found that he received the following award: Warburg Award, Hebrew University - 1969–1971, inter alia.

Someone asked me why I find exception with the name Orion.

Orion was a hunter in Greek mythology. What could be less fitting to a group of peaceful Jewish mystics? HaYachad, the Essenes or Dead Sea Sect, were begun by a group of Cohenim or Priests. They had the collective memory of the Jews being persecuted by the Greeks and desecrating the Temple deep in their psyche. They recalled when the Greeks forced the Jews to translate Torah into Greek on pain of death for the entire community for refusing and they understood the cultural havoc that would wreak in the coming generations, as Hebrew cannot be properly translated into any other language. They knew that the non-Jewish world, not possessing Hebrew and the Oral Tradition, would go far afield attempting to "interpret" a Script they could not possibly understand correctly and that matters would only become worse as further translations were carried out based on the Greek.

The Aramaic word orian or term bar orian means 'one who is literate'.

Typical of the Rothschilds who put a spin on everything they equivocated between the Aramaic word 'orian' and Orion the hunter in Greek mythology.

I've heard a few oblique references to the Dead Sea Scrolls in relation to the NWO, but nothing that put up an immediate red flag.

It was only reasonable to assume that so powerful an instrument is going to be manipulated.

I believe the following is the beginning of that manipulation.

Tablet Ignites Debate on Messiah and Resurrection

JERUSALEM: A three-foot-tall tablet with 87 lines of Hebrew that scholars believe dates from the decades just before the birth of Jesus is causing a quiet stir in biblical and archaeological circles, especially because it may speak of a messiah who will rise from the dead after three days.
If such a messianic description really is there, it will contribute to a developing re-evaluation of both popular and scholarly views of Jesus, since it suggests that the story of his death and resurrection was not unique but part of a recognized Jewish tradition at the time.
The tablet, probably found near the Dead Sea in Jordan according to some scholars who have studied it, is a rare example of a stone with ink writings from that era in essence, a Dead Sea Scroll on stone.
It is written, not engraved, across two neat columns, similar to columns in a Torah. But the stone is broken, and some of the text is faded, meaning that much of what it says is open to debate.
Still, its authenticity has so far faced no challenge, so its role in helping to understand the roots of Christianity in the devastating political crisis faced by the Jews of the time seems likely to increase.
Daniel Boyarin, a professor of Talmudic culture at the University of California at Berkeley, said that the stone was part of a growing body of evidence suggesting that Jesus could be best understood through a close reading of the Jewish history of his day.
"Some Christians will find it shocking a challenge to the uniqueness of their theology while others will be comforted by the idea of it being a traditional part of Judaism," Boyarin said.
Given the highly charged atmosphere surrounding all Jesus-era artifacts and writings, both in the general public and in the fractured and fiercely competitive scholarly community, as well as the concern over forgery and charlatanism, it will probably be some time before the tablet's contribution is fully assessed. It has been around 60 years since the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered, and they continue to generate enormous controversy regarding their authors and meaning.
The scrolls, documents found in the Qumran caves of the West Bank, contain some of the only known surviving copies of biblical writings from before the first century AD In addition to quoting from key books of the Bible, the scrolls describe a variety of practices and beliefs of a Jewish sect at the time of Jesus.
How representative the descriptions are and what they tell us about the era are still strongly debated. For example, a question that arises is whether the authors of the scrolls were members of a monastic sect or in fact mainstream. A conference marking 60 years since the discovery of the scrolls will begin on Sunday at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, where the stone, and the debate over whether it speaks of a resurrected messiah, as one iconoclastic scholar believes, also will be discussed.
Oddly, the stone is not really a new discovery. It was found about a decade ago and bought from a Jordanian antiquities dealer by an Israeli-Swiss collector who kept it in his Zurich home. When an Israeli scholar examined it closely a few years ago and wrote a paper on it last year, interest began to rise. There is now a spate of scholarly articles on the stone, with several due to be published in the coming months.
"I couldn't make much out of it when I got it," said David Jeselsohn, the owner, who is himself an expert in antiquities. "I didn't realize how significant it was until I showed it to Ada Yardeni, who specializes in Hebrew writing, a few years ago. She was overwhelmed. 'You have got a Dead Sea Scroll on stone,' she told me."
Much of the text, a vision of the apocalypse transmitted by the angel Gabriel, draws on the Old Testament, especially the prophets Daniel, Zechariah and Haggai.
Yardeni, who analyzed the stone along with Binyamin Elitzur, is an expert on Hebrew script, especially of the era of King Herod, who died in 4 BC The two of them published a long analysis of the stone more than a year ago in Cathedra, a Hebrew-language quarterly devoted to the history and archaeology of Israel, and said that, based on the shape of the script and the language, the text dated from the late first century BC
A chemical examination by Yuval Goren, a professor of archaeology at Tel Aviv University who specializes in the verification of ancient artifacts, has been submitted to a peer-review journal. He declined to give details of his analysis until publication, but he said that he knew of no reason to doubt the stone's authenticity.
It was in Cathedra that Israel Knohl, an iconoclastic professor of Bible studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, first heard of the stone, which Yardeni and Elitzur dubbed "Gabriel's Revelation," also the title of their article. Knohl posited in a book published in 2000 the idea of a suffering messiah before Jesus, using a variety of rabbinic and early apocalyptic literature as well as the Dead Sea Scrolls. But his theory did not shake the world of Christology as he had hoped, partly because he had no textual evidence from before Jesus.
When he read "Gabriel's Revelation," he said, he believed he saw what he needed to solidify his thesis, and he has published his argument in the latest issue of The Journal of Religion.
Knohl is part of a larger scholarly movement that focuses on the political atmosphere in Jesus' day as an important explanation of that era's messianic spirit. As he notes, after the death of Herod, Jewish rebels sought to throw off the yoke of the Rome-supported monarchy, so the rise of a major Jewish independence fighter could take on messianic overtones.
In Knohl's interpretation, the specific messianic figure embodied on the stone could be a man named Simon who was slain by a commander in the Herodian army, according to the first-century historian Josephus. The writers of the stone's passages were probably Simon's followers, Knohl contends.
The slaying of Simon, or any case of the suffering messiah, is seen as a necessary step toward national salvation, he says, pointing to lines 19 through 21 of the tablet "In three days you will know that evil will be defeated by justice" and other lines that speak of blood and slaughter as pathways to justice.
To make his case about the importance of the stone, Knohl focuses especially on line 80, which begins clearly with the words "L'shloshet yamin," meaning "in three days." The next word of the line was deemed partially illegible by Yardeni and Elitzur, but Knohl, who is an expert on the language of the Bible and Talmud, says the word is "hayeh," or "live" in the imperative. It has an unusual spelling, but it is one in keeping with the era.
Two more hard-to-read words come later, and Knohl said he believed that he had deciphered them as well, so that the line reads, "In three days you shall live, I, Gabriel, command you."
To whom is the archangel speaking? The next line says "Sar hasarin," or prince of princes. Since the Book of Daniel, one of the primary sources for the Gabriel text, speaks of Gabriel and of "a prince of princes," Knohl contends that the stone's writings are about the death of a leader of the Jews who will be resurrected in three days.
He says further that such a suffering messiah is very different from the traditional Jewish image of the messiah as a triumphal, powerful descendant of King David.
"This should shake our basic view of Christianity," he said as he sat in his office of the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem where he is a senior fellow in addition to being the Yehezkel Kaufman Professor of Biblical Studies at Hebrew University. "Resurrection after three days becomes a motif developed before Jesus, which runs contrary to nearly all scholarship. What happens in the New Testament was adopted by Jesus and his followers based on an earlier messiah story."
Yardeni said she was impressed with the reading and considered it indeed likely that the key illegible word was "hayeh," or "live." Whether that means Simon is the messiah under discussion, she is less sure.
Moshe Bar-Asher, president of the Israeli Academy of Hebrew Language and emeritus professor of Hebrew and Aramaic at the Hebrew University, said he spent a long time studying the text and considered it authentic, dating from no later than the first century BC His 25-page paper on the stone will be published in the coming months.
Regarding Knohl's thesis, Bar-Asher is also respectful but cautious. "There is one problem," he said. "In crucial places of the text there is lack of text. I understand Knohl's tendency to find there keys to the pre-Christian period, but in two to three crucial lines of text there are a lot of missing words."
Moshe Idel, a professor of Jewish thought at Hebrew University who has just published a book on the son of God, said that given the way every tiny fragment from that era yielded scores of articles and books, "Gabriel's Revelation" and Knohl's analysis deserved serious attention. "Here we have a real stone with a real text," he said. "This is truly significant."
Knohl said that it was less important whether Simon was the messiah of the stone than the fact that it strongly suggested that a savior who died and rose after three days was an established concept at the time of Jesus. He notes that in the Gospels, Jesus makes numerous predictions of his suffering and New Testament scholars say such predictions must have been written in by later followers because there was no such idea present in his day.
But there was, he said, and "Gabriel's Revelation" shows it.
"His mission is that he has to be put to death by the Romans to suffer so his blood will be the sign for redemption to come," Knohl said. "This is the sign of the son of Joseph. This is the conscious view of Jesus himself. This gives the Last Supper an absolutely different meaning. To shed blood is not for the sins of people but to bring redemption to Israel."

BIBLICAL STONE CAUSES STIR; Re-evaluation of Jesus story?

I didn't, and don't, see anything about this in the Hebrew press, or even in the English-language Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post.

I could have missed it, but this should have been an item in the headlines. I've been reading the Hebrew news regularly.

The idea of writing with ink, not engraving, on stone sounded a bit odd.

I mentioned the above article to my husband, Dani'el, and the claim of some to be in possession of a tablet of stone from Qumran with ink writing on it. He got a good chuckle from that one.

I'd like to bring the following excerpt to the reader's attention at this juncture.

"It has been around 60 years since the Dead Sea Scrolls were uncovered, and they continue to generate enormous controversy regarding their authors and meaning."

I own a complete Concordance of all of the known non-Biblical Dead Sea texts. Emmanu'el Tov produced it a few years ago when he was sure that he was in possession of all of the materials.

There is no mention of any such stone. I have never heard any mention of any such stone tablets, neither has Dani'el.

More importantly, Emmanu'el Tov is the world's expert on the scrolls. The fact that his name is not even mentioned in the article is suspect.

The 2012 Brigade are hard at work staging the Disney-Pomo World Productions Armageddon Spectacular.

My suspicion is that the next Dead Sea Scroll to be mentioned in the news will be the War Scroll. The will present it as a justification and preparation for Armaggedon.

This is a time of need for great balance and restraint. We all want a better world. HaShem has infinite ways at It's disposal for bringing that about. There need not be Armageddon.

Lessons From God, Allegories From the Field

The only credentials I can offer, the only authorization I can claim for writing this is that I asked. I asked with a broken heart and a shattered mind. I was lost. I was afraid. One of my blood pressure readings showed a systolic pressure of 198. I was desperate. I cried real tears when I prayed to God for an answer and offered a plea to save this beautiful world. That is the only credential or authorization one can claim when one is so bold as to say: This is what God told me.

The day after I cried and prayed until I collapsed from exhaustion, this is what God told me in response to my questions.

Ah, I guess I should relate what my questions were. I hesitate to do so because the answer is what I really want to tell you. But the questions will put the answers into perspective and so I'll tell you what I dared to ask God.

I asked: WHERE ARE YOU? Why can't I find You anymore? Why can't I feel You anymore? Were You a delusion? How can it be that evil people have taken over this planet? How could You allow the things that are happening to occur? Why don't you intervene? Why don't You stop this? Can it be that I love this world more than You? That's absurd! Where would that love come from? Can it be that there is evil that derives from tapping into a source of evil, but there is no good? That too is absurd.

And then I said: Despite all the horrors my eyes have seen and all of the things that I have heard, I will not abandon You. I will not cease to place my hope in You. I will not deny the teaching that: "Anything that can be broken can be fixed." I love You. I love this world and will not give up hope for it.

The next day the answers came. They came in the form of a flood of gematriot, which I will not explain. I'll only relate the message.

God reminded me that the expressions which mean the 'coming of the Messiah' in Hebrew are in the form of present continuous.

God then explained to me that what is occurring now is not only the ongoing coming of the Messiah, a continuous process, which heretofore came to individuals who were able to pass the knowledge on to their families, and then to a People, but now has come to all of Humanity, and directly, not by way of any messenger, but directly.

Both the intensity of God approaching our consciousness and the scale of the approach are unprecedented.

God then explained that this necessarily causes confusion on the level of the mind and that this confusion is generalized.

Not only is the Soul of every Human being being touched in a way never before experienced, but all of the memories and histories that our bodies represent, are the product and distillation of, are now being purified as well.

The hopes, prayers and inner intentions of Every Generation are now being revealed and fulfilled.

The promises that God made to our ancestors are now being realized.

Every deed, every occurrence in human history, every word, every thought that is and ever was on this planet are now being rectified, purified. The inner purity of all that, which was hidden, is now being revealed and the outer truth is being brought into line with the inner truth – not only for us, but for all of our history and the rectification will be permanent, though ongoing.

None of the generations on Earth have seen what we are seeing and will yet see. All of the generations on Earth are having their deepest hopes and prayers fulfilled in us. Understand our merit and rejoice.

We will attain Godconsciousness on the conscious level of our minds, but that is not the end of the process. It marks a new stage, which will go on progressively, only to take us to the stage after that.

I was told by God that our consciousness is like a pipe. God's approach is from the "end" that is "close" to God, the Soul, and proceeds to the "end" that is furthest away from conscious recognition and experience of God – our state of awareness on the surface.

As this process proceeds, the impurities along the way are pushed to the surface and mass confusion, fear, darkness, the worst imaginings of the mind, the most terrible chapters from the past return and the most terrible acts are committed because this is the impurities that reside within us and they are being "pushed out". We see this every day. We are surrounded by symbols and teachings from ancient cultures, confused symbols and teachings. That is all being rectified and clarified. It is no coincidence or accident that a war is raging in what was Bavel (Babylon). The very name Bavel in Hebrew means 'confusion' and 'misunderstanding of speech'. But, it also means 'awakening and quickening of the heart'.

It was shown to me with gematriot that thoughts and worlds are one and the same and to purify consciousness to the point of our being able to perceive God with our conscious minds, individually and collectively, which is an ongoing process but now is proceeding with great speed, intensity and range, is one and the same as the correction of worlds and greater by far than the splitting of the sea, which God did for my People when they exited from Egypt, which is called Mitzrayim in Hebrew, meaning doubled and redoubled straits. The straits that we are now emerging from, all of us, are greater by far than the emerging from Mitzrayim and the miracle that God is now accomplishing for us is immeasurably greater.

God explained that it will look as though evil has overrun the world. Fear and uncertainty will be ever present. There will be nary a clear thought or a coherent sentence to be heard. Even thoughts and sentiments genuinely intended and expressed will be terribly confused.

But it will end.

And when it does end we will, all of us, be living in a world in which the revealed and the concealed will be in line, will be one. We will know God with our minds and we know God with our Souls and we will be keen and able to act on that awareness.

God told me not to try to understand what is happening using any paradigm or example. God said that what is happening is unprecedented on this planet and no experiences had up 'til this point will suffice in the least to describe or explain what is already well under way. We are in the thick of this emergence. Now.

It is not the case that we are, as many think, on the verge of the coming of Mashiach. We are experiencing it NOW. We always do, in fact, but never before on this level.

I will repeat what I wrote above and say it most explicitly so that there will be no doubt. This time there will be no messenger, no interceding. We are receiving Mashiach directly, each of us as individuals and all of us collectively.

When this process is completed, we will all be greater as individuals than any Prophet that has come to this world. God indwelling will be on a higher level in us than anyone has ever experienced heretofore. That is what they wanted for us, what they prayed for, what they lived and died for and that is what is coming now to be. We are God's fulfillment of the promises It made to the saints and sages. Collectively, what we will be and accomplish together cannot be described or imagined at all.

I was told by God that the disorientation of the mind and the emotions that we are all experiencing are a healthy sign of what we would understand as "detoxification" and should not be feared. I was also told by God not to put any stock in any thought or system of explanation now being offered at all. All is now far too confused and insufficient on the level of the mind. There simply is no understanding for us now. We will understand when the process is completed.

I shared this with my husband, knowing that I was relating it in far too abstract a manner.

But he understood immediately and said: "When I used to work in the field we used aluminum pipes for irrigation. We had to leave them on the ground and they would gradually fill with dirt and gravel, leaves and other debris. To clean them, we would introduce water from a hose. As the water under pressure displaced the dirt inside the pipes, we would hear the gravel being stirred up in the pipes. Before the dirt inside began to emerge it would become more dense within the pipe as the dirt behind it at every level was pushed along. More water pressure was necessary along the way as the debris in the pipe accumulated. Finally, the dirt would begin to emerge. Lastly, pure water would come through the pipe, water that could be used for irrigation and to give life."

The impurities of our history and our own selves are now emerging. Expect it not to look very pretty for awhile. Expect to fear. Expect for feel unsettled. Expect to experience a sense of foreboding. But know that the process is ongoing, under perfect control, and for our ultimate good, a good we cannot begin to imagine, but will experience very, very soon.

Spiritual = Spi+Ritual = Psy+Ritual

There is something that I have been meaning to write to this group.

Every time I hear or read a Jew use the word 'spiritual' as though it were the most Jewish thing in the world, as though it were the most natural thing in the world and, most often, as though it were a demonstration of the high level one is on, I cringe and I cry.

What is wrong with being spiritual? Well, what if I rewrite the word spiritual thus: spi-ritual. Do you begin to see it differently? Let's take it another step further. I'll write the word spiritual thus: psy ritual.

That is what spirituality is. It is the ritual of head spaces, head games and removing oneself from this physical level of reality and taking up residence in one's own mind.

Though it often presents itself as gentle, sensitive, evolved; spirituality leads eventually and inevitably to one place – the dark side. Spirituality is another name for avodah zara – idol worship and all idol worship involved spirituality.

None of our Prophets were spiritual. They were moral.

While it is most certainly true that at the beginning of their careers they relayed experiences of רוח HaShem being upon them, what they meant is that they became able to read into the depths of Torah. It does not mean that they became spiritual. It most certainly does not mean that HaShem is spiritual. I will say this and no more. The gematria of רוח is 214. The gematria of the word דקדוק, spelled correctly with a חירק חסר is likewise 214. The gematria of 214 is also the radical ירד. When HaShem comes to you, you are sent *down* into physicality to make the world better, not up into some rarified region wherein no tikkun is necessary. When the Prophets say the word רוח they mean that they were sent to fix the lower regions of physical reality and make a משכן, a dwelling for HaShem there and they were shown the depths of Hebrew that they needed to know in order to be able to do so. They were shown the internal secrets of the grammar of Hebrew. Once shown that they took upon themselves a lifetime of *involvement in the world* in creating and urging others to create a just world – on this plane of reality.

To be sure, in order to achieve their objective special powers and abilities were conferred upon them, but only to that purpose and that purpose alone. They were given the powers and abilities that they needed to do their jobs, no more, no less. They were not given special powers and abilities simply to have them and certainly not to be "special" or above others or this level of reality.

You have heard Rabbis teach about "spirituality". You have been told, in various forms, that this world is "nothing but illusion", "a veil" and other nonsense.

This is the introduction of avodah zara into Judaism.

The ever-increasing number of rituals in Judaism (chumrot and minhagim) is not a healthy trend. Have you ever thought about how many children die of starvation while a ritual is being performed?

Look here: "Around the world, some 26,500 children die every day.

That is equivalent to:

1 child dying every 3 seconds
18 children dying every minute
A 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring every week
An Iraq-scale death toll every 15–36 days
Almost 10 million children dying every year
Some 60 million children dying between 2000 and 2006"

How many children died because of poverty while you were taking part in unnecessary ritual (chumrot and minhagim)? Were you not specifically instructed *not* to add or subtract from Torah? Those unnecessary psy rituals have distracted you from your true work. They have deafened and blinded you to the agony of children. And all the while they made you feel oh, so spiritual.

And if a Rabbi comes and tells you do that which HaShem has told you not to do, to whom is your allegiance? Why do you give more credence to a Rabbi than to HaShem? Because he is flesh and blood and tangible, that's why. So, you attribute to him real authority, authority to contradict and contravene HaShem's word! The paradox of "spirituality" is that it makes you dependent on flesh and blood and unable to connect directly with HaShem because flesh and blood seems more real to you than HaShem.

There is no level of reality that the Shkhinah is not intended to take up residence in. If someone tells you that the level of reality that is the lowest level of your Soul is unworthy or unfit to be a vessel for HaShem, or "a mere illusion" and that you have to remove your consciousness to a higher level – RUN. You are being invited to create a vacuum that the Satan will be only too happy to fill.

There is no level of reality or place that it not meant to be a dwelling place of God.

To abandon a level of reality, to give up on it, to remove yourself from it as being unworthy of you is not only ego and arrogance, it leaves a place for dark forces to settle into.

Every space, every place that is abandoned by a Jew as being "too lowly" or "beyond hope" is a place that the Satan will say: "Great! I'll take it." And that place, my dear brothers and sisters is your heart and your mind.

In fact, the reason why the world is the dark place that it is today is that Jews listened to Rabbis who led them astray and became "spiritual", rather than carrying out our mission which is: פתח חרצובות רשע – loosen the shackles of injustice.

I'll put you right on the spot. If you concern yourselves more with "רוחניות" than with גשמיות, with "spirituality" (psy rituality) more than with the real world and increasing justice here, if you think that being spiritual is a sign of being greater than busying yourself with the nuts and bolts and the physical world, you are contributing to the horrors we see every day. You have let the dark side take over the space that you were intended to fix.

Beware of any Rabbi, any teacher, anyone who encourages you to be "spiritual". Wittingly or not, they are sowing the seeds of your destruction.

I have recopied this stunningly beautiful and searingly true passage before and I will likely write it again because so much blood, time, money and ink have been spilt misleading the Jewish People to think they are a "spiritual" people.

See this from the 58th Chapter of the Book of Yeshayahu:

"6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the fetters of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy healing shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee, the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.

9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD will answer; thou shalt cry, and He will say: 'Here I am.' If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedness;

10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thy gloom be as the noon-day;

11 And the LORD will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places, thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.

It is not my way to mollycoddle people and sweet talk them. If what Yeshayahu HaNavi wrote above doesn't sound deep enough to you, spiritual enough for you, esoteric enough for you, then you do not being to know Torah, neither are you coming from a place of Kedushah. If that passage does not bring you to tears for its power and beauty and Truth, if it does not arouse in you an unquenchable desire to carry out the tikkun in this world that only you can do, you have been pre-empted by something else. You are in a place that no Jew should want to be.

If you think that "Lurianic Kabbalah" is more profound than that, or if you are more drawn to the "spirituality" of head trips like "ban" and "rishimu" and "emanations" and all of the other hallucinations in "Lurianic Kabbalah", you need to do a reality test.

And have no illusions about it, idol worship was *never* eradicated in Israel. Have no illusions about being immune It holds many Jews in a greater thrall today than it did thousands of years ago because they techniques of it have become all the more sophisticated.

GROSS IRREGULARITIES ON THE PART OF THE TZFAT (SAFED), ISRAEL MUNICIPALITY DURING THE WAR WITH LEBANON

It's high time that this was made widely known outside Israel. I am ashamed of myself for having hesitated to broadcast this information earlier. My son was in the army and I was constrained to keep my silence.

Now that he has been released from the army, I searched for, and found, the message below, addressed to a cousin, in which I described the rip off on the part of the Municipal workers of Tzfat (Safed) during the Lebanon war last summer.

I'm making up for that mistake now and will make this known outside Israel because NO ONE HAS BEEN PROSECUTED OR EVEN CENSURED even though it is known exactly who the perpetrators are and a report, including the personal reports of those who suffered during the war as a result of what you will read below, was served to the State Ombudsman.

The workers at the Tzfat Municipality continue to work (usually until about 13:00 - that's supposed to be full-time) with the same sense of security, entitlement and lavishing "extras" on themselves that they did before the war in Lebanon - even as the City of Tzfat is on the verge of economic collapse and a programme of financial "recovery" so draconian is being discussed that we may not have lights in the streets at night or regular garbage removal.

Getting back to what happened during the war with Lebanon last summer:

1) 1000 of the 5000 meals that were donated by a charity went unaccounted for every day. The worker at the Municipality who was in charge of distribution told local reporters that he was told to put the 1000 meals aside daily and to leave no written record as to having received them.

2) A truck load full of air conditioners that were donated for the poorly-ventilated, sweltering bomb shelters vanished into, well, thin air.

3) Ditto for the TVs that were donated. In contradistinction, the workers of the Municipality (that is, the 17 out of 350 who didn't desert the city entirely) arranged deluxe, "VIP" shelters for themselves, replete with color TV, A/C and Internet.

4) The free days in hotels, including free meals, that were donated by the hotels themselves and were specifically designated for the infirm and elderly first and foremost were, instead, used by workers in the Municipality. As the result of not getting one of those rooms, one woman whose 8-year-old handicapped, wheelchair-bound daughter, who must be kept in sterile conditions, contracted an infection and had to be hospitalized. Some relative of some worker of the City got the room that little girl should have had. No matter, eventually she got a nice room - in the hospital.

5) A huge number of disposable diapers that was donated likewise disappeared. What the hell can someone do with tons of nappies???

As a result of most of the Municipality workers running for the own lives and leaving us here to die, the army sent in a regiment of reserve soldiers to run the city. They did an exemplary job of handling the exigencies, but the danger of the precedent of being deserted by the democratically-elected government of the city and being governed almost entirely by high-ranking officers in the army need not be elaborated upon.

I am LIVID. I am also mobilized and galvanized to speak up about this.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS SINCE I FIRST DISSEMINATED THIS:

I received the e-mail message below from a member of the Tzfat Municipality. As the English is so poor, I thought it was spam and almost deleted it. Just as I was about to, I realized the name was vaguely familiar.

I opened it and found the following message, which, I have checked with a lawyer to make sure that I can repost it. I am fully within my legal rights to do so.

This is the content of the message:

Subject: "EVEN DO U R PROBABLY RIGHT

HI DOREEN

I HAVE BEEN READING U R ARTICLE ABOUT THE THEFT DURING THE WAR AND EVEN DO U R PROBABLY RIGHT THAT THIS MAYOR AND WORKERS R CORRUPT
U R EFFECTING OUR FUTURE REHABILITATION OF THE CITY
I ASK U TO CONSIDER TAKING DOWN THE ARTICLE"

I fail to see entirely how keeping this information quiet will positively affect the "rehabilitation of the city".

I am of the opinion that the only thing that will rehabilitate the city is the prosecution of all those who were involved, and a complete revamping of the Municipality and how the city is run.

At this juncture, I will keep the name of the member of the Municipality to myself. However, during the course of the upcoming campaign; I may decide to publish the letter, with the name, including a translation.

If this person decides to run for Mayor of Tzfat, or openly supports a candidate; I will publish this letter with his name asking why this person is defending people who left residents of Tzfat for dead during the war.

Someone on the Tzfat Yahoo! list described me as "incorruptible". Evidently, the person who wrote that e-mail to me does not know the meaning of the word 'incorruptible' in English, or is so deep into politics that he has no concept what the meaning is at all.

But I am incorruptible and I'm going to keep on keeping on with this campaign to bring the events of last summer in Tzfat to international light.

Instead of taking his suggestion, I sent the text of "Dirty, Stinking, Tzfat Laundry" to every related charity organization, major Jewish newspaper in the US, Europe and elsewhere as well as to major news services internationally - mentioning the fact that I had been contacted by a member of the Tzfat Municipality who thinks that I should be quiet about having been left to die in order to rehabilitate the city.

If you cannot read it, it says that about a BILLION shekels in donations were received by the Northern part of Israel during the war with Lebanon last summer.

A large part of that did not go toward the intended purposes.

Let that sink in, a billion shekels is largely unaccounted for, while people were left TO DIE, abandoned by the Tzfat Municipality, except for 17 members (out of 350). My husband and I are two of those people.

Meanwhile, the city of Tzfat is in such economic straits that the education budget has been cut to the bone, our street lights will be turned off after 1:00; garbage collection will be reduced; social services have been drastically reduced; the cultural centers, which house the libraries, are closed...

I am making an international issue of this for the sake of justice and justice alone. Those who know me know I have no political or personal ambitions.

My only interest is that the perpetrators are brought to justice and that the money supply that keeps this corruption going is dried up.

I ask you to contribute to the betterment of Tzfat. I ask you to notify all of your loved ones and friends about what transpired here. Tell them to make the issue known in their local newspapers, other media, synagogues and communities.

As you can see from the response of this politician, politicians react to exposure. They don't like it. It is our most effective tool in the fight against corruption. Put the spotlight on them. Do not be afraid of them. Make them afraid of you. Politicians are very afraid of the truth coming to light. Let this ugly, ugly truth come to light.

There may be another war coming and it is expected, if it does occur, to be far worse than the last. If you do nothing to insure your safety, you can expect, without a shadow of a doubt, to be abandoned and stolen from again in the event of war.

If they get away with it once, they will be even more brazen next time.

We must make an international issue of this. By now, the report of the State Comptroller has most certainly been handed over to the Office of the Prime Minister. The State Comptroller can not do anything personally. All he or she can do is report the facts and known and recommend action. Nothing has been done inside Israel – and nothing will.

We must, MUST, take this story to the world - it is a story so shocking that it will make international waves if it is known.

Don't let the politicians fool you. This is the only way to rehabilitate the city.

Don't let there be a next time. Your life and the lives of your loved ones depend on the actions you take now. Believe it. The Municipality of Tzfat and the complicity of the national government have already proven that. We can only depend upon ourselves. No one else cares.

I have contacted a large number of Jewish organizations, synagogues, charities and newspapers. I would appreciate the names of any that the readers think need to know this and would do something about it. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Antiochus' decrees - a figment of Hasmonean propaganda

Antiochus IV Epiphanes (215-163 BC), ruler of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire, was known as an eccentric king. He spent his childhood as a hostage in Rome and ascended to the throne only due to the surprising death of his father and murder of his brother.

When he inherited the kingdom it was already in decline. However, this does not explain the moves that made him infamous to this day - the brutal edicts he issued against the Jews in 167 B.C., forbidding them to practice their religion.

"The reason for Antiochus' oppression of the Jewish faith, attack on the Temple and prohibition of the Torah precepts is not explained by the existing historic sources," says Dr. Steven Weitzman, a lecturer of Judaism in the University of Indiana and the author of Surviving Sacrilege: Cultural Persistence in Jewish Antiquity.

Weitzman analyzes the description of the edicts in the Hanukkah tale, and concludes that the story was concocted by the Hasmonean kings as propaganda intended to legitimize their precarious rule. The Hasmoneans used literary tales dating back to ancient Eastern kingdoms as the basis for their story of Antiochus, he says.

Historians of ancient times agree that religious persecution was not customary among Hellenistic monarchs. Therefore the acts attributed to Antiochus, which every Jewish child learns about in the Hanukkah story, are historical anomalies. "His behavior is completely inexplicable," argues Weitzman.

He says all the Hellenistic rulers before Antiochus were tolerant toward Jewish religion and ritual. "When Antiochus IV's father first conquered Palestine, he displayed much respect toward the Temple and used his authority to protect the Jews' traditions," says Weitzman. "Most of the sources relating these events were written a very long time after they took place. They do not provide sufficient information and are occasionally contradictory."

Some Facts to Ponder Before Channukah

I do not celebrate Channukah. I know that is very odd. Channukah is one of the most cherished holiday seasons in Judaism. It is considered a festival of light and a time of great joy celebrating the purification of the Second Temple and the reinstatement of the Temple Service.

I do not celebrate Channukah for the following reasons. The Maccabees were Priests, but they were not B'nie Tzadok. Only those Cohenim who are B'nei Tzaddok were entitled to be High Priests. The Maccabbim, who were Cohenim but not B'nei Tzaddok, expropriated the office of High Priest. This was only the first of their sins. They would eventually arrive at a level of depravity and degradation that the mind and heart can hardly fathom. It was because of their internecine power struggles within the family, which included murder and castrations of close family members, all of whom were Cohenim; their orgies with Gentiles in the Temple; their crowning themselves kings, which is forbidden for Cohenim to do that led to the destruction of the Temple and our galut. The period of their reign was the darkest period in Jewish history. There were more atrocities committed by them, but the heart is too rent to consider all of it. I am humiliated that an episode such as that is part of our history.

The Isi'im (the Dead Sea Sect) who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls were B'nei Tzaddok who left Yerushalayim in disgust as a result of these events.

The settled in Qumran, formed a communitarian society of common property and devoted themselves to the study and performance of Torah with the utmost assiduousness.

The Isi'im were lost to history at the end of the Second Temple period.

Thinking they were "out of the way" and not knowing that they had hid their writings in caves in Qumran, the redactors of the Talmud engaged is unbridled mendacity in their representations of who the B'nei Tzaddok were. They said that they rejected Oral Law, in addition to other besmirching.

For 2000 years all that was known about HaIsi'im was written about them in the Talmud.

And then, on the self-same day that the partition of Palestine was voted by the UN, the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls that was found by a Bedouin shepherd boy was sold to Yigal Yadin's father, Professor Eliezer Sukenik.

For the first time in 2000 years; HaIsi'im were able to speak for themselves. They wrote that they were a sect founded by B'nei Tzaddok who left Yerushalayim after it became so defiled by the Maccabbim that they could not longer conscience living there. They wrote about their community. But for the sake of this discussion, most importantly, they wrote about the Oral Law.

The redactors of the Talmud wrote that the B'nei Tzaddok did not believe in any Oral Law, that they followed the written Torah only.

But at Qumran T'fillin were found, and the contained the very same passages that are found in Rashi and Rebbenu Tam T'fellin, only in a different order. Carbon dating showed that they were well over 2000 years old.

One of the fragments of a scroll discusses how much water is needed for a proper mikveh.

Another passage discusses how far one may walk on Shabbat.

Another discusses how one may rescue someone who has fallen into a pit on Shabbat.

All of these matters are Oral Torah.

The redactors of the Talmud misrepresented the B'nei Tzaddok. They did so intentionally in order to become the sole representatives of Torah. They lied in order to establish their absolute authority.

That being the case we are not only free to, but absolutely must, call everything in the Talmud into question. We cannot believe that their intentions were pure about anything they wrote. Certainly, we would be foolish to reject all of the Talmud out-of-hand. But we are equally foolish to accept it uncritically and unquestioningly.

I think it is pertinent here to discuss a group of people who did try to live according to the written Law without an Oral Law – the Karaites.

They were excommunicated, in toto, from Judaism.

Do you know that Aaron ben Moshe ben Asher and his descendants, the House of Asher, those who fixed the version of HaMasorah HaT'veriani were Karaites? צרעת-הבית - "Leprosy of the House"

Just what "leprosy of the house" is is a matter of age-olddiscussion.

Evidently the phenomenon was never clear because when one discovered what they thought was clearly צרעת הבית in their house during the time that the כהנים treated the affliction, they had to go to the כהן and say that it seemed to them that there was a plague in the house. As we learn: In Parshat Metzora (Lev. 14:35) we read withregard to the affliction of Tzara'at Habayit ("leprosy of the house") the following modus operandi: He to whom the building belongs shall come and tell the Priest, saying 'like an affliction appears in my house.' Rashi there seizes on the anomalous "like" phrasing and explicates: "Even if he is a scholar who knows it certainly to be an affliction [of leprosy], he should not determine the matter unequivocally to say [simply] 'an affliction, rather, 'like an affliction appears.' "

Some might think that it is merely a figurative, reifyingdescription of a spiritual plague that sets into a home when its inhabitants sinned, particularly engaged in slander.

Some might think that the phenomenon once existed but no longer does.

Some might think that it is a matter beyond our current ability to understand.

I am not a כהן and it is certainly not my place to make a diagnosis,but when I saw the article below I said to myself: That might bewhat צרעת הבית ("leprosy of the house") is.

COMMUNISM IS AN ANCIENT JEWISH CONCEPT

Our earliest record of Jews having lived communally comes from the time of Elisha the Prophet and there is every reason to believe that he inherited that tradition from his Teachers. We learn from the Book of Kings II that the followers of Prophets, called B'nei Nevi'im, the Spiritual children of Prophets, lived communally and took their meals communally.

Likewise, HaYachad also took all their meals communally. A large communal dining hall was built for this specific purpose. Thus, our records establish that Communism is a very ancient Jewish social system.

Marx could never have conceived of Communism had he not been thegrandson of a Rabbi. A bit less than one hundred years before the "Manifesto" was written by Marx and Engels, Rabbi Hillel Shklover, the grand-nephew and disciple of the famous Rabbi Eliyahu ben Shlomo Kremer (or Kramer), the Ga'on (Genius) of Vilna (1720-1797, see: http://tinyurl.com/ccwdh http://tinyurl.com/a9mzr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilna_Ga'on ) wrote the very mystical work KOL HATOR (THE VOICE OF THE TURTLEDOVE, - the latter term being a name for Messiah as found in Song of Solomon 2:12). Rabbi Shklover interpreted passages in the Bible to mean that the Messianic Age cannot come until there is economic equality in Israel and he was basing his interpretation on ancient sources. By the time 1848 rolled around the Ga'on of Vilna was longthe most famous Rabbinic authority of that time frame. The Ga'on ofVilna is still considered one of the very greatest minds and Spirits that the Jewish people ever produced. To this day, his teachings are de rigueur from grade school on up to the highest levels of Rabbinic and Rabbinic Judicial study. Every Jew who studies Bible since the time of The Ga'on of Vilna learns his commentary on the Bible. It is well-nigh impossible that Marx was not influenced by The Genius' exegesis, as he became known as a prodigy in his earliest youth, from the age of seven actually, and amassed a huge following of devoted students.

Marx had to dress ancient Jewish ideas in Teutonic garments (most certainly, appealing to the philosophical authority of one George Wilhelm Freidrich Hegelserved as a more reliable endorsement in the minds of the Germans andEnglish than would appealing to the exegesis of one Rabbi Eliyahu benShlomo Zalman) in order to gain legitimacy in a xenophobic and anti-Semitic Europe, even as Freud didn't mention how many of his ideascame from the Zohar (one of the central works of Jewish mysticism).

It must be mentioned that the Ga'on of Vilna based all of his Biblical studies on the Talmud (the compendium of the Oral Jewish tradition as passed down to and interpreted by the Pharisees of the Second TemplePeriod. It is considered the unquestionable body of Biblical exegesis based on ancient authority among Orthodox Jews to this day) and would not have made so categorical a statement about economic equality had he not found ample basis for doing so in the Bible as interpreted in the Talmud. The year that Hegel was born, The Ga'on of Vilna was a man of 50, surrounded by adoring students and renowned internationally in the European Jewish Diaspora. After his death he became equally famous in the Jewish Diasporas of North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, India and the Far East as well. No one in the Jewish world questioned or questions his brilliance or exegetical ability. No matter how assimilated and Western in his orientation Marx was, he could not have but come under the influence of Rabbinical thinking.

In classical Jewish thought economic equality in communal society is a sine qua non for the attainment of spiritual advancement, as the very desire to amass property and hold it to oneself reflects spiritual taint. However, communal living is not seen as an end in itself, or as the zenith of human achievement. It is meant to serve the mega-purpose of man's existence on earth, which is the revelation of God in the material world. In order to do this, Man is "clothed"in a physical body, which has its own needs. By supplying those needs in a pure and holy way: by eating as prescribed the tenants of one's spiritual culture, temperance in sexual relations, attending to agriculture and horticulture with loving-kindness, uprightness in business dealings, and by being as concerned with the welfare of one's fellows exactly as one is concerned with one's own, onepurifies one's own body as well as strengthens the vessels of physical existence to receive Godliness. Communism, as understood inJewish thought is the physical and cultural parallel of the spiritual quest - the attainment of the greatest good FOR ALL. As God imparts of Its Divine Knowledge freely, so we are to share our knowledge and all manners of wealth one with the other.

The ability to live according to the principles "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF" and, as Rabbi Akiva taught during the time of the Second Temple: "What is mine is yours. This is the great central point of the entire Bible" is the sine qua non of communism. These are central Jewish teachings.

The fact that Marx presented Communism removed from its Jewish ground, which, no doubt, was a capitulation to European anti-Semitism, opened Communism to being arrogated entirely by Gentiles who, not knowing the Spiritual substrate of true Communism, without which it is impracticable, distorted Communism into being the basis not only of repressive regimes, but as yet another excuse for anti-Semitism.

In summary: There can nary be a greater absurd than the presumption of Gentiles who are not privy to the Geist of Communism to not only arrogate Communism, but to use it as an excuse to oppress Jewish People in ersatz Communist countries and excoriate the Jews in the State of Israel in the name of Communism. Communism is the social invention of the Jewish People. It is the sine qua non for the establishment of a just society. It was our past it will be our future.

Genuine Kabbalah vis-a-vis Lurianic Pseudo-Kabbalah

My response: Oh, good! That makes it unanimous then!

Query: Could you clarify please?

Doreen shimmies out of her goofball get-up and gets serious: I will attempt to do so in brief. The subject rightly deserves a book-length treatise, not a post. Let it be said at the outset that often counterfeits are quite valuable in their own right. They are forgeries nonetheless, but are often the products of considerable knowledge and know-how. This is the case with Lurianic Kabbalah vis-a-vis authentic Kabbalah.

Query: I thought you considered the traditional kabbalah to be non-sense and superstition.

Much the same technique that was employed in making up Christianitywas employed by the Lurianic Kabbalists. A heady potion was made of a few drops of truth mixed into a rather copious amount of a viscous medium of half-truth, lies and damn lies. To this, a goodly splash of superstitions that the Jews from the Maghreb had picked up from the indigenous peoples was added. The few grains of truth confer some measure of authority to Lurianic Kabbalah and seem to lend credibility to the dross. I would not care of Madonna busied herself with such innocuous concerns as the meanings of color according to Lurianic Kabbalah, asdescribed on this URL: http://www.therapeuticsource.com/color.html,or attempting to determine a person's psychological make-up by examining the letters that constitute their name (can't find a URL for that just now) and the like. Those are the pastimes of those who will never enter the inner truth of the authentic Kabbalah and which constitute the bulk (and bane?) of Lurianic Kabblah. (That was a joke, it is not my intention to aliken Lurianic Kabbalah to String theory). In fact, they are the flashy and attractive distractions put up in order to keep those who should never enter the Garden out, by keeping them busy with the baubles and beads that delight their minds and emotions. If she would just relegate herself to those concerns, it would keep her off the streets and out of trouble.

What I detest is Madonna, a woman who painstakingly cultivated a vulgar image and made a fortune in so doing, cavorting in revealing costumes on stage with the Tetragrammaton in large neon lights behind her. I read somewhere that she has "Kabbalistic" tattoos as well. I cannot in the space of one post explain all of the reasons why something like this must not be done and how horrendous it is that her "teachers" don't censure her for doing so. It's certainly not the first time that someone with rudimentary knowledge of moral/spiritual matters sold out. I consider those who "taught" her far more reprehensible than she is.

Query: Which, if any, kabbalah is a genuine valuable esoteric tradition? Surprisingly, it is the "heretical" Karaites, particularly the dynasty of ben Asher, who were the Masters of Hebrew and whose version of the Bible, HaMasorah, was (reluctantly) accepted by Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon (the Ramba"m) due to its incontrovertible accuracy. Their understanding of Torah was much in keeping with that which would later be discovered in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The works of Abraham ben Shmu'el Abulafia, ca. 1240-1292, a student and proponent of the rational, as opposed to the far more irrational stream of Kabbalah, i.e., Lurianic, were hidden away and dispersed in almost every main library and archive in Europe. Some have been released for publication in the last seven years or so. More manuscripts still are in the Vatican. In their largesse, the Vatican now allows some selected researchers to view the writings of Rabbi Abulafia that they still hold, but not reprint them. I believe that both the Rabbinical establishment and the Catholic Church colluded in hiding the works of Rabbi Abualfia from the public.

HaRav Abulafia's writings, great as they were for his time and generation, were of reduced understanding of Torah. So much had been lost by his time and the Rabbis had supplanted that which was lost with a good deal of improvisation. There were two reasons for this: the Temple ritual no longer existed and they knew something had to fill the void and they wished to fill that void by bolstering their power and position. Rabbi Abulafia was firmly under the influence of the Pharisaic-Rabbinic stream of Judaism. There was no other option during his time.

It was very convenient that the saintly and ascetic Rabbi Moshe Cordevero (the Rama"k), who knew of no "spirituality" without morality and who was in possession of the Kabbalistic tradition from Spain, died at the age of forty-eight, just one year after the Ari (Rabbi Yitzchak Luria), who he took on as a student, arrived inTzfat.

It is the Dead Sea Scrolls *in the original Hebrew, which cannot betranslated*, that reveal the most authentic form of ritual Judaism and, though I hate to use these terms when referring to interpretation of Torah, the correct methods of exegesis andhermeneutics.

A great deal of obfuscation is inevitable when we are dealing with the moral/spiritual dimension of being. The super-rational, the level upon which moral and spiritual truths reside, is a level above grammar and syntax and so it sounds very much like the irrational when we try to convey it. The laws of mathematics and linguistics that we use to create the worlds we inhabit, each of us according to our ability to do so, descend from and are derivatives of these spiritual/moral laws. The pure laws of spiritual morality truly are caught, not taught. This leaves the moral/spiritual open to the abuses of those who, knowing that the super-rational and the irrational sound about the same to the uninitiated, trap the gullible with spiritual-sounding mumbo-jumbo.

I am most wary of anyone who would offer himself or herself as a teacher the Kabbalah. If they do so for a price, I would run for dear life from that person. There simply is no being taught the Kabbalah. TheKabbalah means 'receiving', i.e., receiving directly from God, gratis, or not at all.

In the Basilidian Gnosis they are called sonships (uiotetes), in Valentinianism they form antithetic pairs or "syzygies" (syzygoi); Depth and Silence produce Mind and Truth; these produce Reason and Life, these again Man and State (ekklesia). According to Marcus, they are numbers and sounds. These are the primary roots of the AEons. With bewildering fertility hierarchies of AEons are thus produced, sometimes to the number of thirty. These AEons belong to the purely ideal, noumenal, intelligible, or supersensible world; they are immaterial, they are hypostatic ideas. Together with the source from which they emanate they form the pleroma. The transition from the immaterial to the material, from the noumenal to the sensible, is brought about by a flaw, or a passion, or a sin, in one of the AEons. According to Basilides, it is a flaw in the last sonship; according to others it is the passion of the female AEon Sophia; according to others the sin of the Great Archon, or AEon-Creator, of the Universe. The ultimate end of all Gnosis is metanoia, or repentance, the undoing of the sin of material existence and the return to the Pleroma."

Everything on that site bears out exactly what I have written about HaYachad, which is often in contradiction to the viewpoint of the scholars, particularly Xian scholars, as well as Rabbinic Jews.

Of course HaYachad did not live in poverty. That would have been in contravention of the teachings of Shlomo HaMelekh who prescribed neither poverty nor wealth, but the golden mean. They lived in simplicity, not poverty.

It is highly unlikely that the cosmetics cases were theirs, as they considered anointing with oils impurity except in the context of HaAvodah and their way was devoted to humility.

As for their scrolls containing ordinary Judaism: That too is exactly as Doreen has said. Theirs was normative Judaism. It is Rabbinic Judaism that is the aberration.

There are decided differences between their parshanut and that of the Prushim, who compromised the Torah in many respects. It cannot be said that they agreed with the Prushim on all points. There are too many diatribes in their works against the Prushim for it to be assumed that they were not a separate group.

It is very likely that during the seige and destruction of Yerushalayim that various Jewish groups hid what they considered to be kitveh kodesh at the settlement of HaYachad, which they accepted, as the writings contained holy Names that they did not want to be desecrated.

As for Xian scholars skewing matters: So what else is new? They learned to do that from their progenitors - Pharisaic Jews.

The Concepts משיח and ברית חדשה In Judaism in Light of

The Dead Sea Scrolls

Introduction

It is ironic, but true, that the final refutation of Christianity is to be found in the Dead Sea scrolls, the very source that modern Christian researchers so hoped would provide support for the tenets of their beliefs. Indeed, many of the terms and concepts we are familiar with from Christianity are to be found in the Dead Sea scrolls and it makes little sense to deny this fact. For those who have a proclivity to do so, combined with only rudimentary knowledge of the Holy Language, it would be easy enough to interpret the terms and concepts as they are found in the Dead Sea scrolls as meaning what Christians mean by them. Orthodox Jews, for their part, would prefer to dismiss היחד as "צדוקים", which they were, or worse as "מינים", which they were not, in order not to be faced with the cognitive and religious dissonance of encountering what appears to be quasi-Christianity in their writings and having to deal with the fact that very devoted Jews wrote in those terms. The approach to פרשנות in this work will not be another Jewish aping of "exegesis" and "hermeneutics". This will be a work of true פרשנות, i.e., examination of Hebrew text in terms of analysis of the Hebrew language based on our age-old tradition of how to read Hebrew and delve into the פנימיות of that which is written. We will reiterate and demonstrate once again, בע"ה, in the course of this work why performing החלופים is essential to understanding Hebrew text. More proofs and demonstrations of this are to be found in my works entitled נקבה: הקרבנות והכפרות, and מאוצר אור החלופים: פרשת מקץ, which can both be found on: http://tinyurl.com/5zxoy We will be intrepid in our research. While it will be demonstrated that Christianity has misunderstood the terms and concepts that it has arrogated from Judaism, it will also be demonstrated that tenets of the Christian faith that are dismissed out-of-hand by Orthodox Judaism do indeed rest on firm religious bases. Those bases are not, to be sure, that which Christianity imagines them to be, but they are not spurious and cannot be ignored. It has proven futile for Jews and Christians to argue the legitimacy of their faiths based on interpretation of texts. Such argumentation must, at best, conclude with: "Let's agree to disagree on how to interpret the meaning." Neither side is left either finally refuted, or finally vindicated. For its part, Orthodox Judaism will have to surrender some of its most cherished illusions about the supremacy of the פרושים vis-a-vis הצדוקים and some of its most deeply entrenched misunderstandings of who and what משיח is and when משיח arrives if we are to return to the true understanding of משיח that we forgot. We will examine terms and concepts that are specifically Jewish, those that are specifically Christian and those shared by both religions in light of the חלופים. In the above-mentioned works that I have written, נקבה: הקרבנות והכפרות and מאוצר אור החלופים: פרשת מקץ it has been demonstrated not only that the performance of the חלופים is sine qua non for the correct reading of תורה, but also that היחד were Masters of the חלופים, employing them in all of their writings. We will see their stunning mastery once again, בע"ה, in this work. While מאוצר אור החלופים: פרשת מקץ was written in a predominantly rationalistic style so that scientists and mathematicians would be able to relate to the work, this work is intended for the morally/spiritually inclined and will present the material as such wholly unabashedly, unapologetically and uncompromisingly. Let us turn, then, to the terms and concepts in light of the חלופים so that they may begin to speak for themselves. The reader is urged to pay the חלופים presented for each term and concept the utmost attention. Each חלוף essential for a comprehensive understanding of the mega-concept, which is the numerical value that all of the חלופים for a word or phrase share. Please note the progression of one חלוף to the next. Every effort will be made to group the חלופים together such that the progression of one to the next is readily apparent. It must be stressed that there is not "final", utmost, or uppermost חלוף for any value. Each and every one is of equal value in understanding the entire concept and each and every one is operative in any and all cases. The חלופים exist on a level from which grammar and syntax are proceed. Most often they do not produce grammatically whole sentences, but rather reveal aspects of a mega-concept that is a given value. Despite the fact that the חלופים are usually not whole sentences following the laws of grammar with which we are familiar, for they are the building blocks language, we will see that they speak far more clearly than loquacious prose. If I were to attempt to write out all of the information that are provided by the חלופים in grammatical and syntactical prose this work would be far, far longer, but its impact would be immeasurably reduced. There will, however, be cases in which it will be necessary to comment on some of the חלופים demonstrated. In that minority of cases a supralineal number will be found at the end of the חלוף and the comment(s) will appear after the list of חלופים for the term or concept (in the actual work, we will not employ that device here). In some cases it will be necessary to demonstrate חלופים for letters that appear as part of radicals and words, or parts of words in order to elucidate the underlying structure. For instance: חלופים for the value of the word משיח taken as a whole will be demonstrated. We will also demonstrate חלופים for ש"מ, י"ח, ש"ח, ש"י, מ"י ו-מ"ח, in order to see many levels of meaning that are operative in the word משיח. We will demonstrate חלופים, and thus depths of such terms as: רוח הקֹדש משֻלש (trebled or trinity) בתולה אם צלב כפר קרבן ברית ברית חדשה הברית החדשה and more. Perhaps the very best place to start is with the radical י-ש-ע. Much ado has been made about the root י-ש-ע in its various inflections in the Christian tradition, and rightfully so. The concept of ישועות figures prominently in Judaism as well and is to be found a number of times in the extant Dead Sea Scrolls. We shall see some of the depths of the root י-ש-ע taken individually, and in conjunction with the letters ה, ו, י, ל, מ, נ ו-ת that form the inflections of the root י-ש-ע. We will see that neither the Pharisaic/Rabbinic nor the Christian traditions plumbed the depths of these words or revealed their true Messianic meaning. However, it will be demonstrated that היחד did understand the root י-ש-ע, its inflections and its connections to the concept of משיח in a far more profound and holy way than did either הפרושים or the Christians. י-ש-ע is infinitely more than the Christian "salvation"., While we will see the root used to mean "salvation" and "deliverance" in the Dead Sea scrolls, we will see that it meant far more, even when it appears to mean "salvation" and "deliverance". The Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition of Judaism did not, indeed could not, pass on the true מסורת of just what ישועה is. Indeed, it was the misunderstanding and partial understanding on the part of the Pharisees, and subsequently that of their students the Rabbis, that opened the door to Christianity and their taking of the concepts further afield still until they were distorted almost beyond recognition. We will, בע"ה, return to the Torah-true intent of these words and concepts as understood by נביאי ישראל and as recorded for posterity, ברוח הקֹדש, by היחד. We will consider every inflection of the root י-ש-ע that is to be found in the extant Dead Sea scrolls. Additionally, we will consider those inflections of the root י-ש-ע in consideration of the words contiguous to them in the passages. In so doing, we will demonstrate how the depths of the concept that is 380, the value of the root י-ש-ע was woven into the ostensible meaning of the texts of היחד. We will concentrate on the forms of the root most familiar to us from the Jewish and the Christian traditions. The concept of י-ש-ע in the Dead Sea scrolls is entirely Jewish, and upon examination of the texts of היחד will be seen to be wholly concerned with the ultimate returning to השם ישתבח שמו on the part of עם ישראל. ישועה will be seen, likewise, to be the ultimate promise of peace that will exist between ישראל and הגוים. We will encounter the concepts of ישועה that were plagiarized and distorted by the Christians in their pristine and original form. We will, בע"ה, likewise, consider every site in the extant Dead Sea scrolls in which the appellations משיח and משוח and their inflections appear and analyze them both as discreet terms and in relation to the words contiguous to them. We must consider terms in relation to the other terms contiguous to them when considering Hebrew texts because Divinely inspired Hebrew is an alphanumeric/moral lattice and the "weave" must be perceived in order to appreciate the wonder of the work. Let us turn, then, to our demonstration of the root י-ש-ע (a very partial sampling will be offered at this juncture):
ישע = 380 = ממש = מספר = עיר המלכה = בעבור המלכה
למד דבר מלכה = אתם עבור המלכה = 1379 = 380 = שבחי הכלה =
ישבח הכלה…
We see that the radical י-ש-ע is equal to the phrases שבחי הכלה and ישבח הכלה. In order to make this a grammatically correct phrase we will need the word את, which is the form indicating the direct object. Therefore, the phrases שבחי את הכלה and ישבח את הכלה are equal to the phrase ישע את. Notice that the command form in the feminine singular is numerically equal to the future tense for the masculine singular. One of the most important elements of the concepts related to Mashi'ach that the Christian tradition overlooked entirely was the feminine aspect of God Itself. The Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition came closer to the mark in teaching about the שכינה and the fact that ישראל is the Bride of ה יתברך. Yet they did not comprehend and promulgate that there is a feminine element of משיח. Most believing Jews are awaiting one man who is the משיח. There is much confusion and much suffering as a result of that confusion to alleviate.
Yes, there is a feminine element in the root י-ש-ע that has not been revealed either in the Pharisaic/Rabbinic Jewish or the Christian traditions. We will see a good deal more of this feminine Aspect in this work.
If we look at the word ישע with a ה ידיעה or the suffix ה, indicating the possessive in the singular feminine, we see that:
ישעה = 385 = הישע = שפה = עשיה = שכינה = ישע בבשרך
1384 = 385 = ממש בבשרך …
While the concept of the female aspect of the Godly presence is certainly a central theme in Pharisaic/Rabbinic Judaism, it is not connected by them to the radical י-ש-ע or to language, as we see above. The concept עולם העשיה exists in the "Kabbalah", but again, the concept is related neither to language nor to the root י-ש-ע and its Messianic meaning.
The Female, Christians will come to see, is not one young Jewish woman who becomes pregnant with a "savior". The Female that we will become more familiar with is the female aspect of God Itself, The Queen, The Bride and It's relation to ישראל and to הגוים.
Yet this is not nearly all.

Abstract of
Hidden Theophoric Names and Angelology in the
"War Scroll"

The "War Scroll", 1Q33 (1QM[ilhamah] = 1QWar Scroll [Rule]), is perhaps the most ignominious, and certainly the least understood, of the Dead Sea Scrolls .The "War Scroll" is a mistitling foisted upon the scroll by those who edited and attempted to translate it, despite their ignorance of the depths of the Holy Language. This author takes exception with the Gentile and Jewish researchers alike who are not initiates in the depths of the Hebrew language in their assuming that they know what they do not and who irresponsibly go to press with their conclusions, to much fanfare, leaving immeasurable moral/spiritual and Jewish cultural damage in their wake. It will require decades for Jewish researchers who are truly fluent in Hebrew and familiar with Jewish sources to repair the damage that has been done to the correct understanding of the scrolls. Needing funds as they do, Jewish researchers cannot exclude Gentile interests from the enormous and enormously costly enterprise of editing and researching the Scrolls, some Jewish researchers are not of a mind to do so, and so the damage is ongoing.

Not knowing that the word מלחמה is an anagram/perfect permutation* for the word מחמלה, the expression חמלה לי and the word חלפה (see Col. XVI, Verse 12), the Gentile researchers were led astray by the little of the Holy Tongue that their eyes can see and arrived at spurious conclusions about that which is written in the scrolls. They yclept the scroll, so lovingly and painstakingly composed and constructed for the sake of bringing peace to the world, סרך המלחמה. This work comes to redeem the honor of the scroll and ransom it from those who keep it imprisoned in Gentile mind-set.

*(By perfect permutation the author intends a result of the performance of a חלוף or חלופים that is an anagram the value of which is exactly equal to the original letter, word, expression, sentence etc. that the חלוף or חלופים was/were performed on. If the חלוף or חלופים was/were performed on letters, words, phrases, etc., that are not themselves nor do they contain any letters that have a סופית form, the anagram will always be a perfect permutation. If however, we perform a חלוף or חלופים on letters that do have a סופית form, or on words, phrases etc., that contain a letter or letters that have a סופית form, and thus the value of the letter or letters may change if it/they is/are placed at the end of a word (and sometimes elsewhere in a word, as we find in the hapax legomenon the word לםרבה, which begins Chapter 9, Verse 6 of the Book of ישעיהו, and is found quite often in the Dead Sea scrolls), the resulting anagram will be either a perfect or an imperfect permutation. An imperfect permutation is the result of performing a חלוף or חלופים in which a regular letter or regular letters have become a סופית or סופיות or a סופית or סופיות have become a regular letter or regular letters after the חלוף or חלופים was/were performed, and thus the value of the resulting value of the anagram is not that of the original letter, word, expression, sentence, etc.)

There are Names of Angels that are written quite explicitly, and repeatedly mentioned in the "War Scroll". What, then, is the intent of the author of a work which posits that there are also hidden theophoric Names and Names of Angels in the War Scroll?

בע"ה, we will prove that not only are there hidden Holy Names in the War Scroll, we will demonstrate a more accurate understanding of what the appellation מלאך means than the definition proposed by the Ramba"m and other Pharisaic/Rabbinic commentators.

Most importantly, we will demonstrate that far from being a call to an eschatological war and a description of that war, the "War Scroll" is, in fact, a meditation on Holy Names for the purpose of protectingכנסת ישראל from the impending disaster that they had brought upon themselves as a result of interpreting תורה in a compromising manner and contaminating בית המקדש השני.

It should always be borne in mind that היחד was founded and led by בני צדוק and that they lived in accordance with the understanding of תורה of בית צדוק as passed down generation to generation since the time of the first כהן ראש אהרן. The task of כהנים in this world, most especially that of הכהן הראש, is to love peace and pursue peace. How can it be said that היחד were warmongers or that they, G-d forbid, relished the idea of their brethren being slain en masse? Truly, such interpretation of the scroll is in the eye of the interpreter, not in what the Holy Language says. It was, moreover, the task of הכהנים to bring about expiation for עם ישראל and for the Nations. היחד never desisted from this task, even when they could not touch the Temple physically, they called to the Jewish Soul relentlessly and with much personal exertion.

Having had to separate themselves from המקדש because of the impurities that were introduced into המקדש by the Pharisees and the Hellenized Sadducees in Yerushalayim, both of whom colluded with the Gentile government each to their own extent to the detriment of the Jewish People and who monopolized the Temple Service by brute force and bribery; the כהנים who founded היחד, and continued to serve as the moral and spiritual mentors of the society, were unable to perform the physical aspects of העבודה. However, they were able to perform the חלופים, i.e., the internal, moral/spiritual aspect of העבודה, and they did - masterfully.

Far from being an eschatological document written by a group that had become increasingly separatist, disenfranchised and extreme, as is commonly thought, ר"ל, the "War Scroll" is actually a last-ditch effort on the part of היחד to save the Jewish People from disaster. Beneath what appears to be the text to those who merely skim the surface of the text are profound prayers and invocations of Divine Names for the sake of trying to protect the Jewish People.

For instance: in Column XIV, Verse 14 we find the contiguous words:

כיא גדולה מ[חשבת כבו]דכה ורזי נפלאותיכה במרומי[כה

Before discovering the theophoric Names in the above words, let it be understood that the praises of ישראל to ה יתברך in their prayers are mirrored by the praises of ה יתברך of ישראל. The above passage is not only a praise of HaShem, it is meant to remind ישראל of her greatness as a People. The Jews had forgotten that they are an aspect of HaShem in creation and to what purpose they, as a People, had come into creation. The words above were meant to arouse them from their slumber and delusions and bring them back.

Within the words above we find the overlapping theophoric Names:

אהיה, י-ה, הויה, א-ל, א-לה, א-לוה, א-להימ, א-דני, מיכאל, גדליהו, רפאל, רזיאל, אוריאל, פניאל, פנואל, דניאל, נוריאל

If we accept the reconstruction of the text, we can add the Names:

שד-י, גבריאל, ומישאל

to the list of theophoric Names to be found in the passage above as well.

Lest it be thought that the passage above was chosen because it alone contains many theophoric Names, but that this is atypical of the "War Scroll" as a whole, I invite the reader to reread the scroll with an open mind and heart.

The theophoric names in the "War Scroll" are written into the text on various levels of conspicuity. In Column III, Verse 9 the name רזיאל is quite apparent in the form of the expression רזי אל. Discovering the name רזיאל in the passage from Column XIV, Verse 14 shown above requires greater attention and ability to discern names woven into the text. Still greater attention to the internal structure of the text and knowledge of גימטריאות is required to see that the name רזיאל is equal to the Name א-ל taken eight times. The value 248, the value of the name רזיאל, equals the value of the Name א-ל, which is 31, times 8.

If it is true that the name רזיאל is equal to the Name א-ל taken eight times, then it is necessarily true that the word רזי, equaling 217, is equal to the Name א-ל, which equals 31 x 7. The word רזי is equal to the following:

רזי = 217 = מכפר על עון = 1216 = 217 = ישראל מכפרים על הגוים 2215 = 217 = הזהר = יוצא מההיכל = אטהר אתם = שמחת בנותי = ברירתם החפשית = יכפרו על עצמם

Among the infinity of חלופים for the Name א-ל one is particularly significant in regard to the "War Scroll":

א-ל = 31 = תחית עם ישראל = 2029 = 31

Saying the word רזי and invoking the name רזיאל is praying forתחית עם ישראל seven (שבע) and eight (שמנה) times respectively.

It should be noted that the name of the number שבע is itself equal to31 x 12, or the Name א-ל taken 12 times. The name of the number שמֹנה is an anagram/perfect permutation of the word נשמה. The words שמנה and נשמה are equal to the expression יודע כפרה.

We see from the חלופים demonstrated that the matter of כפרה figures prominently in the "War Scroll". We see that in addition to the many times that the Name א-ל is written apparently in the scroll, there are many times that the Name א-ל appears in the form of words the values of which are multiples of the value of the Name א-ל. We have seen that a חלוף for the Name א-ל is תחית עם ישראל.

Truly, it was the intention of the author/s of the "War Scroll" to bring about expiation for ישראל and to protect their lives, not to bring war upon them.

My work elucidating many more examples will be ready for public viewing sometime next year, אי"ה.

Answers To Some FAQ's About the HaYachad

While doing background research of the Scrolls for my upcoming book that will demonstrate the final refutation of the tenets of Xianity, I came upon a number of passages that answer some elementary questions that have been posed to me a number of times.

It is commonly assumed that all of the members of HaYachad were male and some are of the opinion that they were celibate, this based on ancient reports of their way of life. However, that which they write about themselves contradicts this. See: 4Q249a (4Qpap crypt Serekh HaEdaha), Frg. 1. Parallel: 1QSa I 4-8; 4Q249e (4Qpap cryptA Serekh HaEdahe) QueFrgs. I-3, Parallel: 1QSa I 5-10, 12; 4Q249g (4Qpap cryptA Serekh HaEdahg).

A noteworthy cite demonstrates the interpretation of HaYachad as to what "ayin tachat ayin, shen tachat shen" (an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth) means: to wit: That if a person hits his slave or maidservant and knocks out an eye or a tooth he is to set the person free and pay for the slave's or maidservant's time of unemployment and complete cure. See: 4Q251 (4Q Halakhah) Fragment 8 (formerly 4) 1-3.

Somejone once asked me if HaYachad used a mechitzah. I have treated this question before. Clearly they did not, as evidenced in their laws concerning sitting in a Sukkah on the holiday (which may coincide with Shabbat) , or on Shabbat Chol HaMo'ed. I received a link to this site in the Jewish Vegetarian Newsletter that Richard Schwartz sends out. I subscribe to it because my husband is vegan.

I research linguistic anomalies in the Dead Sea scrolls. So, interested I flipped to your site and was quite astounded by what I saw.

All archaeological evidence proves that the Essenes were not vegetarians. In his book RECLAIMING THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS, (Orthodox) Dr. Lawrence H. Schiffman writes: (that a) "considerable number of bones of edible animals found buried between the buildings in pottery containers...could not have been the remains of sacrifices..."

A photo of the shards of one of the pottery containers appears in the book. The caption reads: "Buried around buildings in the Qumran settlement were various deposits of animal bones, containing the remains of cooks - and apparently eaten - sheep, goats, and cattle."

The Essenes were in no wise vegetarians.

Of course, it is your democratic right to arrive at whatever assumptions you wish and build a society based on spurious claims. However, if you are concerned with historical fact and take pride in integrity and honesty with yourselves, you will desist from claiming any connection to the Essenes.

HOLY COWS

People ask me why I am drawn to the Judaism of היחד. It is because their writings are wholly untainted by that which I will describe below.

Professor Abbey Hoffman, of blessed memory, once said: "Holy cows make the tastiest hamburgers."

Judaism in the intervening generations since יציאת מצרים, when it was we who stood in proud defiance of עבודה זרה, and particularly during the galut after the destruction of the Second Temple, became bogged down and distorted out of all recognition with אמונות טפלות (superstitions). These אמונות טפלות have become part and parcel of what most Jews think Judaism is; but they are עבודה זרה nonetheless. It is foolish and incorrect to think that simply because we are Jews we are incapable of עבודה זרה as everything we practice automatically becomes kosher. The תורה tells us otherwise. The Talmud is also wrong in teaching us that עבודה זרה has been rooted out of Israel. We see it today – in force. Before we can enter the Temple again we must purify ourselves of all that which is not Torah-true Judaism.

I know that my writings make people feel unsettled. I know that I am often very annoying, even infuriating. That is because most Jews have forgotten how to distinguish between העקר והטפל. We see from the expression העקר והטפל that just not distinguishing between that which is essential and that which has been added on to Torah places us firmly in the area of אמונות טפלות, i.e., עבודה זרה. We must always remember the admonition:

לא תספו על-הדבר אשר אנכי מצוה אתכם ולא תגרעו ממנו לשמר את-מצות ה' א-להיכם אשר אנכי מצוה אתכם
דברים ד:ב

Notice, please, that the word תספו is written with a חלם חסר and a חירק חסר. This is to instruct us to keep the מצות precisely and not add anything whatsoever.

To make matters worse, many unscrupulous Rabbis have encouraged the generalized confusion among the Jewish People as to what is permissible in or to capitalize on that ignorance. That is why the Rabbinut in Israel is vanishing today. If it were a holy enterprise, ה' יתברך would bless it and make it flourish in the Holy Land. Astrology, veneration of Rebbes to the point of idolizing them, visiting graves (which confers ritual impurity that makes us unable to approach the Temple), ascribing powers to stones, wearing colored strings on the wrist and so on are all practices that have been added on, come from foreign cultures and are absolutely forbidden, no matter what the people who are making money from these practices tell you, including Rabbis. Understand this. Is it written anywhere in Torah to do these things? No! In fact, we do not even know where משה רבנו is buried. This is because it was the Will of 'ה that the grave of משה not become a shrine.

I should like to add that the popular amulets (קמעות) is עבודה זרהas well. The practice of placing a particular מזוזה believed to have special powers under the pillow of a woman giving birth is a gross abuse of תורה and worse than עבודה זרה. Torah specifies how and where we are to place a מזוזה. Under our pillows is not one of them.

I once attended what I thought was a lecture at a Charedi seminar. When I got there there was a table set up laden with stones of all types, colors and sizes with price tags on them. Some cost many hundred of shekels and this was some years ago. The Rabbi of the town spoke in order to open the evening, including about the necessity of upholding “Torah true Judaism”, whereupon he ended his speech and turned the evening over to a Charedi lady who he lauded as an example of “Torah true Judaism”. Instead of talking, the woman turned directly to selling stones of all kinds that she claimed conferred all types of “segulot”. I left, not before making an announcement that what was transpiring there was עבודה זרה plain and simple.

If you will look carefully at my writings you will see that I have preserved, cherish and protect עקרי-התורהfiercely, even as I dispose of theטפל as the rubbish that it is and afford it no respect whatsoever, making a laughingstock of it in order to show people how ridiculous it is so that they may be rid of it. I do not treat these matters in a light-headed manner, however. I refute them rigorously, scholastically and bring the many sources ה' has taught me to bear in the vigil against ignorance and עבודה זרה.

Nobody likes a revolutionary. Nobody likes those who tell the unadulterated, undiluted, unsweetened Truth. Nobody says "thank you", we don't get invited for afternoon tea very often and we don't get Nobel Prizes. Such is our life and it all goes with the territory. I accept my lot. I do not expect honor, or even much respect and I will forfeit the teas and the chitchat that goes on at them (gladly, I should say), but I will defend the honor of the תורה.

THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE PHARISAIC/RABBINIC PERIOD

I was profoundly serious on the evening of the Festival of Shavu’ot. I began to think about the many criticisms that I leveled against the Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition,including the Rabbinut of today. “Maybe I am wrong, I said to myself. Maybe I have been wrong.”

After my husband went out to learn for the night I began to pray to ה' יתברך. I asked for guidance and I asked ה' to stay my hand if I am wrong.

As I finished praying my eye fell on the newspapers that my husband had brought home on Eruv Chag. There is no explanation for why I began to read one of the newspapers, except that it was a Divine directive. I don’t read papers anymore. I haven’t for quite some time. The fact that I began to read a newspaper on a Chag is all the more strange. My eye fell on the paper "בשבע", issued on יום ג', ה' בסיון תשס"ד, 25.5.04. I began to flip through the pages. I came to an article entitled
"עמרי, שר הדתות" (“Omri, Minister of Religious Affairs”) by אריאל כהנא (Ariel Cahana) and began to read it. Again, this was very strange as I am never attracted by articles that deal with politics.

I will translate parts of the article, which stunned me so, here for those who cannot read Hebrew. I heartily suggest that those who can read Hebrew read the full article in the original.

My translations will appear in quotation marks. My comments on the article will appear without quotation marks below the quotes.

“This is actually the story of the collapse of the system of religious services in Israel, among them the Religious Councils. What was one a glorious enterprise for the dissemination of the Jewish light in every settlement in the Land of Israel, in the spirit of the idea formulated by the first Chief Rabbi, HaRav Kook, is vanishing. Only those who are close to the issue are taking it to heart.”

Finally the religious community is waking up to the fact that they have done such a poor job of making religion beautiful and holy and real in the eyes of the Jewish People that no one but interested parties (i.e., those whose salaries depend on the Ministry of Religious Affairs) care whether the Ministry exists or not. No one is raising a finger to help them.

“The situation is described by Dov Dombrovitch, Secretary of the Board of Religious Councils: “Almost all of the Councils are in deep financial crisis. There are Councils, like in Bat Yam, that closed lock and bolt. Against many foreclosures on top of foreclosures are being enacted. The municipalities aren’t providing the budgets that the law enjoins them to. Many of the workers of the Councils, from the women who supervise the ritual baths to the Chief Rabbis, aren’t getting salaries for months. Ritual baths all over the country are opening up on and off. Kashrut supervisors can’t carry out their tasks, and there is no one to talk to about support for learning Torah in yeshivot and in synagogues.”

The article continues: “The crisis, in contradiction to the prevailing opinion, does not distinguish between those Councils that were run in a defective and filthy way and those who management was normal and in working order and whose activities were blessed.”

This particular passage stunned me. I had wondered if I had been harsh, if I had been overly critical of the Rabbis. Now, here I was reading the term מסואב, meaning: corrupt; debauched; unclean; defiled, filthy used in describing the functioning of some of the Religious Councils in Israel by a religious man who follows the Pharisaic/Rabbinic way. I sat shocked. There was yet more to come.

The article says: “ Not one single Member of Knesset or Minister who are close to the issue was wise enough to prevent the complication that was created. The bottom line is: For three weeks there is no legal system that worries about the existence of Jewish life in the Land of Israel.”

I continued to read that Rabbi Yitchak Levi, Head of the National Religious Party (the Mafda”l) was put in charge of dissembling the Ministry for Religious Affairs and finding which other government ministries could pick up the functions of the dissembled Ministry of Religious Affairs. Not only did he not disagree, he saw the project in a very positive light. Officially the Minister in charge of Rabbi Levi is Ariel Sharon, the Prime Minister himself. In practice, however, Omri Sharon, the Prime Minister’s son, a man who knows nothing of Jewish Law and cares only for power and wealth, is now in full control of all religious affairs in the State of Israel.

Rabbi Levi in addressing the plenum said: “I didn’t see in ‘Shulchan Arukh” that a Religious Council is holy and it is forbidden to touch it. There are Religious Councils that make the Name of Heaven holy, but there are other Religious Councils that defame the holy publicly.”

Once again I sat shaken reading a Rabbi write such things about Religious Councils that he is intimately familiar with for decades. The Hebrew he used is:

"אבל יש מועצות שמוציאות את דיבת הקודש רעה."

Rabbi Levi continued: “We will keep and protect religious services, but provide them much better.”

The article describes the power plays between the National Religious party and Sha”s over control of the Religious Courts, a bastion of power and money, that was part and parcel of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. It is clear from the article that the Religious Courts are politicized through and through and that the same wheeling and dealing that marks the Religious Councils lies at base of the Religious Courts as well.

In an article that appeared in the newspaper "דתי צפוני" on 24.5.04 there is an article entitled "הרבנים הראשים יחדשו את המאבק נגד הממשלה". In that article it is mentioned that a series of emergency meetings of the Chief Rabbis; Eli Yishai, Head of the Sha”s Party; Members of Knesset from the Sha”s Party and the Chief Rabbis of the large cities in order to discuss the crisis in the Religious Councils.

Their efforts will avail them nothing, a temporary transfusion into a dying body at best. They have made the Name and the Torah ugly in the eyes of the Jewish People. They have caused many to flee the religious world and have confounded many an innocent Soul who came thirsty to their door for Torah. Nothing they do will come to aught.

We see, then, that while the Rabbinut rose to great heights of power in the Diaspora, ה' יתברך is bringing them low in the Holy Land.

Elements of the Exodus from Egypt echo in this story – the fact that there were warnings and warning signals, but they fell on deaf ears – ears that ה' יתברך made deaf because it is the Divine Will to end this travesty and set the Jewish People free to find the True Way.

I understood in reading this article, though it pained me deeply to see that the Rabbinic world had reached so low a level of immorality that ה' decided to make them “vanish” (the term used in the article is נגוז), making a brighter future possible.

I understood that ה' יתברך blesses the work that I have devoted my life to – the dissemination of the knowledge of the Judaism of היחד – the true, authentic, pure and only real יהדות.

I understood that my work is just one part of a process that is already under way. Even as I type, ה' יתברך is ending the age of the Rabbis and clearing the way for our return to תורת אמת.

May it be come speedily in our days.

AN OPEN LETTER TO
מכון המקדש

I have been to מכון המקדש twice and I was very impressed with the work you are doing. It is holy work and it is being carried out with every holy intention – except one. There is one כלי קודש that you have not provided for – בני צדוק.

Not long ago a Rabbi came to my hometown of צפת with a model of המקדש that he and others had constructed. The model is based on the vision of המקדש that was shown to יחזקאל בן-בוזי הכהן הנביא. The model was meticulously constructed. It was lovely. Tremendous effort had obviously been invested in it. Yet, the Rav never took בני צדוק into consideration. In fact, I had to remind him of the name of הכהן הראש during the time of דוד המלך who anointed שלמה המלך. He did not so much as remember the name צדוק. He did not mention the fact that בני-צדוק are mentioned by ה' יתברך no less than four times in
ספר יחזקאל בן-בוזי הכהן while הנביא was being shown המקדש.

The first time בני-צדוק are mentioned in ספר יחזקאל is in verse
מ:מו:

והלשכה אשר פניה דרך הצפון לכהנים שמרי משמרת המזבח המה בני-צדוק הקרבים מבני-לוי אל-ה' לשרתו

The second time בני-צדוק are mentioned in ספר יחזקאל is in verse מג:יט:

ונתתה אל-הכהנים הלוים אשר הם מזרע צדוק הקרבים אלי נאם אדנ-י ה' לשרתני פר בן-בקר לחטאת

The third time that בני-צדוק are mentioned in ספר יחזקאל is in verse מד:טו:

והכהים הלוים בני צדוק אשר שמרו את-משמרת מקדשי בתעות בני-ישראל מעלי המה יקרבו אלי לשרתני ועמדו לפני להקריב לי חלב ודם נאם אדנ-י ה'

The fourth time בני-צדוק are mentioned in ספר יחזקאל is in verse מח:יא:

לכהנים המקדש מבני צדוק אשר שמרו משמרתי אשר לא-תעו בתעות בני ישראל כאשר תעו הלוים

When I asked him if he took the model of המקדש that is described in מגילת המקדש into account he was surprised by the question. “Why should I?”, he had the temerity to answer, though if he had read ספר יחזקאל he could not but have read the passages above and he would know that בני-צדוק did not err. I answered that one must take their model of המקדש into account because בני-צדוק are the only כהנים who kept the התורה and performed העבודה correctly when all others erred and went astray. He told me that mine is not the accepted opinion and that if I disagree with the majority then the onus of proof is on me. No, my dear confused brother who refuses to see, the onus of proof is not on me. The proof is already written in ספר יחזקאל four times.

And now I will speak plainly to you: Unless we return to the way of בני-צדוק, those broke away from the corrupted priesthood, those who formed היחד, those who left us the מגילות in the place we call “Qumran”, which they called דמשק (an anagram of מקדש), those who left us מגילת המקדש so that we may know how to construct the Third Temple, all that you are doing is at best an exercise in futility or, at worst, the beginning of another cosmic cataclysm for the Jewish People and all of Humanity, as was the destruction of the Second Temple. ה' יתברך has written whose sacrifices of חלב ודם will be accepted. All others will be an abomination. The החשמונאים, aided and abetted by הפרושים, arrogated both the Kingship and the High Priesthood and desecrated the Temple. You know that הפרושים sided with and even supported החשמונאים until they began to persecute even הפרושים, although they had no right to serve in the Temple as High Priests, and certainly not to crown themselves Kings על פי הלכה. You know the unspeakable cruelty and perversion they became capable of as they became drunk with wealth and power. Do you imagine our generation is better than theirs?

הי ישתבח שמו has let it be known by the hand of a נביא who was also a כהן that בני-צדוק are הכהנים favored to make the sacrifices on המזבח. The work you are doing will not be blessed if you do not do it in accordance with the Will of ה', no matter how artistically constructed the כלים may be and no matter how otherwise well intentioned you may be.

Empirical Proofs, Astronomy and Astrology - The Scrolls Are "Light Years" Beyond Them All

Someone posed the following challenge to me:

It is of utmost importance that I subject any new idea to the same rigorous standards of intellectual scrutiny and self-honesty as I would in any other area of Torah learning, as well as philosophy or science, through the analysis of evidential proofs of reference sources, and not to be drawn in to ideas that may give me a sense of superficial intuitive satisfaction based to a large degree upon emotion.

I answered:

You would submit the Scrolls to the same exacting standards of logic and scientific proofs that you would what you have learned in yeshivot? SEFER HAYETZIRAH and GINAT EGOZ, two pillars of Rabbinic pseudo-Kabbalah, speak about seven heavenly bodies in our solar system, excluding the earth while including our sun and the earth’s moon. With the discovery of Neptune, Uranus, Pluto (which is considered a double planet because its one known moon is more than half the size of the planet) and the respective attending moons that orbit other planets in the solar system, those books are defunct except among all those who cherish them because their sense of identity would come apart if they were to admit the truth to themselves. The only remaining value in the astronomical “data” in Gikatilia’s GINAT EGOZ is the quaintness of ignorance past. For instance, Mars simply is not two-and-a-half times bigger than earth. A work that is truly holy cannot be refuted by empirical data based on a more advanced technology than that which existed at the time it was written. SEFER HAYETZIRAH and GINAT EGOZ however entertaining they may be to read, are not holy books.

You will find no such nonsense in the Scrolls. In fact, there is nothing that I have found in the Scrolls that can be refuted by empirical data based on advanced technology.

An important חלוף to consider is this: ספר = 340 = שמ. Therefore, שמים will equal ספרים. The word ספרים can easily be seen to be comprised of ספר + ים. ים is a חלוף for האדם. Therefore:
שמים = ספרים = ספר האדם. That which we see in the sky is our own understanding of our own Book.

Let us take a look at the word כוכב. Its gematria is 48, i.e, מח. The word הכוכב, then, would be חמה and המח. To the best of our knowledge today stars are suns (whatever those are), thus חמה. Returning to the fact that כוכב = מח we understand that there is a connection between stars and intelligence, but we do not know exactly what. The use of the word מח in the sense of ‘brain’ is post-Biblical. In ספר איוב כא:כד the word מח is used in the sense of ‘bone marrow’. Therefore, there is some connection between that which occurs within our bones and the astronomical phenomena. We are not yet in a position to attempt one-to-one correspondences between the astronomical phenomena we observe and other data.

We use much the same terminology when referring to astronomical phenomena as we do to intelligence. An intelligent person is “bright”, while a person of extreme intelligence is “brilliant”. Ideas are said to be “nebulous” until they eventually become clear point by point. The nubulae that are the stellar nurseries are described in similar ways. We talk about both consciousness and the universe “expanding”. The examples of analogous terminology and description go on.

When we observe the sky, and the astronomical phenomena it appears to us to “contain”, we are actually observing a physical representation of the processes of our own intelligence and internal processes. As we learn more, more astronomical phenomena are revealed to us and we rethink those phenomena that we thought we were already familiar with, perceiving them differently. Thus, what we perceive when we consider space is wholly dependent upon our own level of consciousness. We think we are looking outward, but actually we are gazing within.

We are now in a position to understand why astrology is עבודה זרה. We can only perceive astronomical phenomena in accordance with our own level of conscious evolution. We are not looking at astronomical phenomena as they are, in fact we do not even know if they exist in and of themselves. We are looking at physical representations of our own thought and physical processes, which are continuously evolving. We are fashioning the astronomical phenomena with our minds. The person who attributes power to predict his or her future to the stars is doing the very same thing as the person who fashions a statue with his or her own hands and expects it to be an oracle. To attribute the power to help us foresee the future to that which we fashion with our minds is actually a worse form of עבודה זרה than if we were to believe in a statue to do the same.

In מסכת עבודה זרה ס"ד עמ' ב we are taught that if we buy a statue from a Gentile, the substance of which we intend to use to make use of, for instance we intend to smelt the metal that a statue is made from and make something else with it, we are to demand that the Gentile break the statue somehow. This is done in order to make the Gentile prove that s/he attributes no powers to the statue nor holds it in any veneration. We are unable to do this with the images we fashion with our minds – the astronomical phenomena and the constellations being the example par excellence of this. Thus, astrology is a worse form of עבודה זרה than making statues and attributing powers to them. When we gaze at the stars are making תמונות with our minds. If we attribute anything to the images we fashion with our minds, and this includes “science” as well as pseudo-science, other than being very temporary, and ever-changing, representations of our own thought processes whatsoever we have crossed over into the worst kind of עבודה זרה.

Oh, me! Oh, my! A High Priest Became a צדוקי!

Forgive the sarcasm, folks, but there is a limit to how much stupidity anyonecan endure.

This was intended to show me the error of my ways somehow:

"Do not believe in yourself until the day of your death, for Yehoshua was the High Priest for some eighty years, left the fold and rebelled against the Rabbis and became a Sadducee in his later years". (Ethics of the Fathers).

There are many cites in תורה that will explain what the merit of צדוק הכהן was in the time that both דוד and שלמה were the Kings of ישראל. It was צדוק הכהן who anointed שלמה King.

ומשח אתו שם צדוק הכהן ונתן הנביא למלך על-ישראל ותקעתם בשופר ואמרתם
יחי המלך לשלמה

מלכים א' א : לד

We will prove here only that the exclusive right to the High
Priesthood rests only with בני צדוק.

The King in the next passage is שלמה.

ויתן המלך את-בניהו בן-יהודע תחתיו על-הצבא ואת-צדוק הכהן נתן המלך תחת אביתר

מלכים א' ב : לה

We know from the following passages that after being appointed הכה
הראש the exclusive right to the High Priesthood remained with בני-צדוק from the following passages:

ונתתה אל-הכהנים הלוים אשר הם מזרע צדוק הקרבים אלי נאם אדנ-י ה' לשרתני פר בן-בקר לחטאת

יחזקאל מג : יט

והכהנים הלוים בני צדוק אשר שמרו את-משמרת מקדשי בתעות בני-ישראל מעלי המה יקרבו אלי לשרתני ועמדו לפני להקריב לי חלב ודם נאם אדנ-י ה' -
שם,מד : טו

We see, then, that it is only בני צדוק who because of their loyalty to HaShem and to the Kings of ישראל, were found worthy to serve as High Priests in the Temples.

Therefore, it is utter nonsense to say that a High Priest became a
צדוקי . It is more nonsense still to say that there is some sin in
being a צדוקי, for תורה tells us that it is צדוק הכהן and his
descendants who kept the תורה when ישראל made themselves vile. But, then, we are growing accustomed to encountering such twaddle as the evidence mounts that the Pharisaic/Rabbinic Judaism is riddled with nonsense and is the portion of fools. If we are honest in learning תנ"ך we will see that it is nothing new that ישראל makes itself vile by trying to mix תורה and עבודה זרה. Such is Pharisaic/Rabbinic Judaism. Only בני צדוק remained separate from that.

One of those ignoramuses who cannot discern that s/he practices pseudo-Judaism provides damning evidence against the Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition on the Forum of www.safed.co.il on an almost daily basis when attempting,pathetically, to defend the Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition, which, we are coming to see, is indefensible.

I will quote one more פסוק from תורה that the Pharisees/Rabbis don't want you to pay attention to. In the following passage HaShem is speaking to אליהו הנביא :

והשארתי בישראל שבעת אלפים כל-הברכים אשר לא-כרעו לבעל וכל-הפה אשר לא-נשק לו

מלכים א' יט : יח

My dear brothers and sisters, the Rabbis who are getting their
salaries from the government, which is getting its money from
America, who are "teaching" you are not only bowing to Ba'al they are kissing his ...

More Questions and Freudian Lace

Someone asked me:

Does even the authority of G-d Himself, when he commands us in Deuteronomy 17 to follow and obey the Sages and Leaders in each generation, even if they don't "meet" her own high "standards" (cf. the judges Gideon and Yiftach, even though am ha'aretzim, were ruled by G-d as having the authority of Moses in their generation; and even if the leaders honestly err - lo b'shamayim hee - "The Torah is not in Heaven!" - Hashem will hold by their rulings!) intimidate Doreen?

In the utter absence of any Essene leaders for 20 centuries, leaving only our glorious Phariseeic leaders, how does she explain this eternal mitzvah from G-d, and who is her own rebbe/rabbi/yoetz in this generation to whom she looks to fulfil this mitzvah?

Or is Mrs Dotan just her own voluble, unguided, wayward, uncounseled, unintimidatable, bitter self?

Your question is pertinent, and so I will answer it, even though it never ceases to amaze me how utterly blind you are. You are blinded because you are staring into the glare of your own image in a mirror and do not realize it. You have never once made a single light-hearted comment, or evinced the slightest ability to laugh at yourself; yet you imagine me to be bitter. You do an inordinate amount of projecting. That is due, in part, to your own character; but also to the way in which you are being educated and with that which you have been inculcated.

Yes; I am unguided. I am not, however, misguided.

There is much in the Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition that it true Torah and I trust my judgment to know which is which, as I pray continuously to HaShem to guide me and not let me go astray in a dark and lonely generation.

Although much in the Pharisaic/Rabbinic tradition is true, the distortions that take it off course are enough to bring us far afield. We may use a missile launched into space as an analogy. If it veers off the perfect course, even by a fraction of a degree, it will be hopelessly lost before long, going further and further off its intended course the further it travels. The Pharisees were not entirely off course, they "just" veered a bit in order to ameliorate the foreigners who were occupying Eretz Yisra'el and to attract as many of the Am Ha'Aretz as they could. By our time the tradition the Pharisees began is very far off course indeed, even though originally they "just" rounded corners, made a few compromises, and allowed the unclean to enter the Temple.

You may be likened to a misguided missile entirely dependent upon those who are (mis)guiding you.

I, in contradistinction, may be likened to an unguided heat (Truth) seeking missile. I am guided by my target (where the Truth lies). I cannot miss.

In a generation in which there are no sages or leaders it is better to be unguided and put oneself in HaShem's hands in utter helplessness than to turn to Rabbis who earn salaries of tens of thousands of shekels a month from the government, which is getting its money from gentile interests, for the express purpose of keeping the religious communities baffled with b...........t.

(Is what was written in one of the local papers true? The Chief Rabbi of Tzfat earns 54,000 Shekels a month???)

P.S. I noticed something in your post above. You did not capitalize the word He in relation to HaShem. You did, however, capitalize Pharisees, as you *always* do. You are obviosly projecting your own lack of belief and accusing me of it. You don't believe in HaShem at all. You are just a weak person who needs to be part of a group in order to have an identity. You are in a state of "groupthink". If you weren't religious you'd be in some anti-social group. The lace of your Freudian slip peeped out and we all saw it.
