ESSENES JEWISH AND REAL

בס"ד This is a blog for Jews who feel a sense of deep identification with HaYachad (Dead Sea Sect). This group is for Jews who feel nostalgia and longing for a Judaism that was, and a profound yearning for it to be again. Our way leads to the Self-realization and, on an even more deeply satisfying level, the Mutual-Realization of Mashi'ach. That is what differentiates us from HaPrushim. HIGH QUALITY RESEARCH MATERIALS ON THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS

BRILL Academic Publishers has published some long-awaited, invaluable tools for the research of THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS this year.

First and foremost is the first volume of THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS CONCORDANCE, in two parts. This is the concordance of the non-biblical texts from Qumran. Future volumes will consist of concordances of the biblical texts from Qumran and to the texts from other sites in the Judean Desert.

Three parts of THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS READER are available as well.
Part 1: Concerned with Religious Law
Part 2: Exegetical Texts
Part 4*: Calendrical and Sapiental Texts

The remaining three parts will be forthcoming in 2004, God willing:
Part 3*: Parabiblical Texts
Part 5: Poetic and Liturgical Texts
Part 6: Additional Genres and Unclassified Texts

*Please note numbering of the parts.

There are standalone and network versions of DEAD SEA SCROLL research CD-ROM’s available from BRILL Academic Publishers as well.

I have purchased learning materials from BRILL Academic Publishers in the past and have found them to be most fair, professional and courteous.

See BRILL Academic Publishers' web site for fuller details about research materials concerning THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS, as well as many other related subjects and general academia.

OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS (OUP) also sells books concerned with the Dead Sea Scrolls that are of the highest adademic calibre.
